We need to get Lavoy minutes somehow.
I'd be cool with a bench unit of.......

    LaVoy
    Copeland
    Bynum
    Turner
    Watson

Cutting Lance's minutes a bit means less turnovers. One thing is for certain, our bench looks 10 times better than Miami's right now when you look at our pieces and theirs.

Yeah, a lot of the turnovers are due to the horrid offensive system.
Nah, players are just making bad decisions. Throwing the ball at Roy's feet isn't in the system. Saving the ball from going out of bounds at the opponents end of the court isn't in the system. Dribbling into traffic with no where to go isn't in the system. We have seen what this offense looks like when the ball moves properly. Its quite good. But when they are lazy and half *** things, they make bad decisions and turn it over.

No... they aren't. Turnovers are never because of the system. Turnovers are mental errors.

George Hill stop tipping your damn hat. The Sixers don't deserve it.
If this is the biggest criticism that can be levied on Hill tonight, then I'll take it. Very good in his part of holding MCW to 3 points in the second half!

I agree, he was outstanding. Just worried about him tomorrow night in Detroit.

Our "free throw issue" was largely overblown, if we would've hit maybe 1-2 more, we would've been at our season average for the team. FTs weren't the issue... it was almost exclusively stupid turnovers, many of them unforced.

How can we be optimistic when you see so many turnovers?

The defense at some point will step up again, the bench will provide you now and then some help. But the turnovers? Man we are awful at that and we won't get that far without cutting them out.

And guess who wasn't guarding MCW that play? George Hill. Lance was.

1 man iso with 4 guys standing around, and a 2 man pick and roll where the other 3 guys stand around, is a big part of our turnover issue. It is way too predictable, thats why you see so many fast break opportunities for the other team. I agree with the fact that you can't control the truly stupid turnovers like the West pass at the end of the half, end of game throwing the ball away, etc.

Hmm, most iso's were West and PG. They were 17 of 28 combined. I'd say it worked fine. You have to accept that the NBA has iso's. It wasn't *all* they ran.

Miami loses... Pacers back with a 3 game lead.
"We've got to be very clear about this. We don't want our players hanging around with murderers," said Larry Bird, Pacers president.
