Why not? Just him replacing Hill, Ellis would be huge for this team because sometimes our offense gets stagnant and we need a player who can create their shot off the dribble.
I just don't see Monta as a winning basketball player. He is a volume shooter, and has to be a go-to scorer to be effective in my opinion, and is a liability on defense at times. Just my opinion. He beat us today, that is for sure. Our offense was fine today, I don't see Monta fixing our defense.

CORRECTION: Our offense was fine if you take out the turnovers

Paul George has become a below average perimeter defender. That's being nice.

Copeland definitely needs to see the floor over Scola right now. Luis has been awful.

The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!)

4th foul call on PG in the 3rd quarter, up by 5, followed by a hail mary 3 by Calderon. 14-3 run.

Not true. We still lead in Defensive Efficiency by a wide margin.
Bulls play ten times harder than the Pacers.

We need to borrow Carlisle for a few practices for our offense.

David west lead the team today with 3 assists.

George Hill is not a point guard.

Our D period has been lethargic since before the ASB. The amount and ease of penetration we're allowing doesn't even look like the same team from earlier this year.

Turnovers are obviously our biggest issue. The question is: personnel or offensive schemes?

    At the moment? Absolutely.

In the playoffs? I don't know. We will see.

It's absolutely true that the Bulls play hard night in and night out but that has probably contributed in some of their injury problems.

Paul George, a max contract player, invisible on offense in the clutch, playing woeful perimeter defense.
is that his fault? or vogels fault for calling west post ups? or our point guards fault for not riding our two hot players (lance and paul)?

This annoys the hell out of me. Offenses are all ran differently. Our offense is not run through the PG, you are not going to have high amounts of assists if you are the 5th option offensively. That is not how it works.

Now should we keep the ball in Hill's hands more? Maybe it would cut down the turnovers. I don't know. But as of now our offense is not ran through Hill, EVER, so to claim his assists numbers are telling is just wrong.

Or not playing Butler and Copeland? For continuing to play Scola? Frank's our biggest issue this moment, IMO.
