Miami will have trouble at Memphis and they haven't beaten the Nets this year I believe. Other than that they should win out.
Pacers must go 6-3 to keep #1 seed. Good luck with that when we can't score 80 points.

Wouldn't surprise me to see us beat Cleveland and San Antonio. Miami could lose to Milwaukee tomorrow considering it's a b2b, and they'll be without Allen, Wade, Chalmers, and Oden. Toronto could be a loss too. Minnesota as well, Knicks too. Brooklyn, Memphis, us....they'll beat the Hawks but could lose in Washington if the seeding is set by then. If the Sixers are still on that L streak come final day of the season, they could lose that one too.

Miami killing Milwaukee on 2nd of b2b. I guess you only use that excuse when your team is playing like **** and you aren't mature enough to be accountable.

Crushing loss for the Pacers today in Cleveland:

    3) Indiana 58-24
    3) Miami 58-24
    5) Houston 57-25
    5) LA Clippers 57-25

People need to stop worrying about the 1st seed and start worrying about the 1st round. We're not even going to play the Heat in the playoffs, so home court won't matter.

lmao if heat take 1 seed, play Brooklyn second round get beat and we find our stride.

honestly I don't even believe mia wants the 1 seed if Chicago/Brooklyn is 4 /5.

We might as well close this. The #1 seed is lost.

Chris Bosh can shut it too. He talks a big game, but has become Troy Murphy for the Heat. Worry about your own team.

the really funny thing is the Pacers still-STILL-control their own destiny as far as the #1 seed goes.

It wasn't about being the team everyone loved, it was about beating the teams everyone else loved.

The Heat seemed to accept that they weren't going to get the one seed, hence their sloppy play down the stretch this season. But now that it's been served to them on a silver platter, they won't let it slip away now. They smell blood in the water.

If playoffs started today would we want the one seed?

    Heat
    Knicks

    Bulls
    Nets

    Raptors
    Wizards

    Pacers
    Bobcats

This would be a nice set up for us IMO.

Honestly, the 2 seed is an easier route to ECF... but home court is just hard to overcome.

I find it funny that Heat fans think the Knicks would serve as no challenge to them. Their starting line up last night that blew out the Nets consisted of Chandler, Amare, Melo, Smith, Felton. The Knicks have been playing a lot better as of late. Amare is a big reason why. If Miami doesn't think Chandler and Amare could smash their front court, they're smoking rocks. Then you have Melo to carry the load offensively. Maybe I'm smoking rocks for believing New York could pull the upset over Miami. Knicks and Heat fans seem to think the Knicks could beat us but not the Heat. Which is weird because I think the Knicks being big and having Melo is a bad match up for Miami.

That is tough one. I think the path from the 2 is certainly easier, and we may need that. However we should be able to beat any of the teams, except we need home court for miami.

We'd sweep the Knicks. This streak their on has holes. They got stomped by the Lakers for cripes sake. That Nets game was also suspect because the Nets played Houston the night before. Takes a lot of energy to guard all those shooters.

I wouldn't be worried about the Knicks, they've been playing well lately, but I can't see the winning a game or MAYBE two against us and Miami.

    Remaining schedules:

    @ Toronto L
    vs. Atlanta W
    @ Milwaukee W
    @ Miami L
vs. Oklahoma City W (this one will be tough, but it's at home, so...)
    @ Orlando W

    Projected finish: 4-2
    Projected final record: 57-25

    vs. Minnesota W
    vs. New York W
    vs. Brooklyn W
    @ Memphis L
    vs. Indiana W
    @ Atlanta W
    @ Washington L
    vs. Philadelphia W

    Projected finish: 6-2
    Projected final record: 58-24

We need to hold serve at home and steal the Toronto or Miami game to have a chance.

If the Pacers are truly out of their slump, this will come down to the wire. Friday's game is pretty big.

You have Miami going on a 5 game losing streak?

Might be a bit over-zealous, but with the T'Wolves ability to score, Brooklyn owns Miami this season. Plus no Wade, Oden, Allen. Knicks are playing better and are desperate to make the playoffs. Memphis wants revenge for the last game plus, might wanna send a message for a potential Finals match up. I can't see Lebron carrying the team through all of those games alone. And I think they're gonna shut Wade down until the Indiana game personally.

It's will be much easier to swallow the pain of losing #1 seed, if it's Heat versus Knicks.

At least I can enjoy the elimination of the Knicks sooner.
