And it works when he's playing well "putting the hurt on the opponent" AND when he's stinking it up "painful to watch".

So are we really going with ET in this forum. I hope we gravitate towards Evan or just Turner. Not ET.
ET is what he went by growing up. Our AAU coach nicknamed him the Greyhound because of the way he runs kind of hunched over.

It *IS* kinda the perfect nickname guys.

I don't mean to be rude or disrespectful towards him, I happily cheer him on as a Pacer.

But the dude does have a very unique sounding voice.
I think his voice has a slight tinge of meatwad to it...
but there is a reason for that:

"Turner was born weighing 10 pounds (4.5 kg). Within his first year, he endured chicken pox, pneumonia, asthma, and measles. The 1989 Chicago measles epidemic caused Turner to desperately need emergency room services. He encountered severe breathing problems that required the removal of his adenoids and tonsils. At the age of 3, he was hit by a car, resulting in a concussion and stitches. Oversized baby teeth and an overbite caused a speech impediment that necessitated speech therapy."

    Damn. That's one harsh childhood.
Just because you're offended, doesn't mean you're right. ― Ricky Gervais.

What if someone from a school of business or management school were to ask, How did you do this? How did you get the Pacers turned around? Is there a general approach you've taken that can be summarized?

    Larry Bird: Yeah, patience.

    Wow. Thanks for posting that.

Again, I wasn't trying to be mean or insensitive. But I had no idea that happened to him.

I had my tonsils and adenoids out about 7 months ago, it literally almost killed me. Not fun stuff.

No, let's go off the wall like some posters do, get clever and extend ET to just calling him "phone home". That way, we all sound on the inside and we have to stop the discussion, sigh at the newbie who asks about "phone home" and then resume the discussion after explaining it.
