    Default We losing OJ too?

I haven't seen anything about him in the Philly trade, but CJ mentioned on Twitter that OJ is gone. Separate trade? Buyout? Or bundled with Granger?
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

We had to cut someone to make room for Allen since we only shipped Granger away. I'm guessing Orlando got cut.

Good luck, OJ. I appreciated all the good minutes that you gave us as a Pacer. I really hope that you succeed in your career

Good luck OJ. Fix that hitch and you'll find a spot.

Make sense... His deal's not guaranteed past this year. I like the kid though.

Tough life for the second round guys. One bad season and you're gone.

Remember when people thought OJ was better than Plumlee? Life is funny sometimes.

Good luck to OJ, but he didn't impress this year pretty much at all. Love the kid though. Hope he sticks around Indy for the rest of the season.

Was it OJ or Solo who complained about minutes in Fort Wayne?

Solo. He should be more careful - he's not that much higher than OJ in the totem pole.

Solo at least produced, OJ has been really struggling with shooting, at the end of the NBA is all about making buckets.

Honestly, if Solo was a 2nd round pick or wasn't a rookie it wouldn't be far fetched that he would be cut in favor of OJ. OJ was still above him on the depth chart.

He never really did much in terms of significant time, but it always seems like OJ played hard and never gave the Pacers a bad name. I wish him well.

Except that Solo is a first round pick and thus has guaranteed contract.

2 years guaranteed, so like OJ he will get 2 years, but if he's not showing enough, well...

To be fair, I like Solo and think he could become a good glue guy type of player. But I like OJ too so

OJ and AJ Price have been my favorite fringe bench players we've drafted in recent memory. I'm not a hundred percent sure why either. Hopefully he goes on to have a successful career. His story how he got to the NBA was harrowing.

O.J. seems like one of the nicest human beings in the world based on his Twitter. Sad to see him go. He had a very promising rookie year, but his shot's just not falling this year. Still, he's reasonably young, has prototypical modern SG size and athleticism, and a decent skillset. I suspect he'll get another shot in the NBA in due time.

If he finds his 3 point shot again he will, and will have a decently successful career as a back-up.

Well that leaves nothing to show for the 012 draft.

Yes, I know Plumlee helped bring Scola in a trade, but still 0 for 2 out of that draft with no 1st this coming draft even tho it would be a 29-30 pick. My guess is 014 picks will be hard to buy and costly if you can get one.

Hmm, that's a strange way of looking at it, JT. It's not like either guy was a bust, essentially they were replaced by arguably better players. When you're a vet team this sort of thing tends to happen. For example, consider San Antonio over the past 5 drafts - they have a grand total of 1 draftee (Kawhi) in their regular rotation, and another (Cory Joseph) warming the bench. Other draftees like DeJuan Blair, James Anderson, and most recently Nando de Colo have all moved on, but SA is as strong as ever. I just don't think this is a good standard by which to evaluate a team.

When you're a title contending team, 2nd round picks don't mean that much.

If one of them was a good player who helped us get another good player in a trade, how on earth does that make it a 0???

For goodness sakes, we are the top team in the east. Who cares?
