Please, God, no. No one on the team will ever see the ball again except when he needs to pad his assists for the 3dub.

Have you seen Lance play recently? The idea that he could be a PG went out the window a while ago.

I still don't understand why on Earth people want Lance at the point guard position. If anything I would prefer that he handles the ball less. He's too turnover prone. Hill is an incredibly smart basketball player who rarely makes dumb decisions with the ball in his hands. That's the guy I feel safe handling the ball in winning time.

This is the only thing that concerns me with the trade actually. Our guys are young. They haven't dealt with this yet. Granger was well liked. He was like a big brother to PG. We already saw Hibbert's tweet. This will not be a popular move in the locker room, but they need to understand this move. They need to understand this is a business.

They played an entire season without him last year. Sure he was still on the bench and in the locker room with the team, but we moved on without him for all intensive purposes. It sucks to completely lose a friend, but that's the nature of this business and I think that these guys understand it.

He really did raise the bar on brazen tanking. His reward: The 3rd pick in the draft.

    Wow....

I'm one of the biggest Granger fans there are.

I'm back to questioning Pacers fans...........

At the moment, Turner > Granger. And Lavoy Allen is an athletic big. We traded a rehabbing Granger and a 2nd round pick for a player better than Granger and another player on par with Granger. ANNNNNNNNND we still have a chance to re-sign Stephenson.

(deleted) Can we please not go there?

Last year was a completely different situation. Its not that Danny won't be on the court with them. Its not even that he's not on the team. But its that the FO chose to move him. I'm not worried about the vets, they've been through it. But PG, Lance, Roy, they haven't. I hope they understand it. I hope they listen to West and Butler who have been through it.

what are they saying on NBATV. They have a live special on right now? Anyone watching.
david aldridge and dennis scott are both high on the move. they like turners toughness, rebounding, and the flexibility he provides. they also liked the idea of turner handling the ball late in games if ghill and lance are playing sloppy.

aldridge also is high on allen. he said when he was covering the 76ers Celtics series (that went 7 games two seasons ago) allen was "impressive"

they both described this as an "all in" move that could "put a title contender over the top"

So in the last month, Bird has managed to add Bynum and Allen, AKA 12 extra big man fouls off of the bench. That's important. With our rotation of bigs, we will have A LOT of expendable fouls against Miami in a series. I hope we lay some nasty fouls on them when they take it in the paint.

True. This move forces Lance to show he can play smarter and more consistent.

So what do you guys usually do with player's jerseys who aren't on the team anymore? I can't exactly wear it anymore. Maybe I'll pack it away and wear it again 10 years down the road when its obscure like a hipster (or hoopster).
That's what I did with my Manning jersey(the only one I bothered to buy because I figured he'd be here for his entire career yeah I was wrong about that one) in the closet never to be touched again until like you said when its obscure.

I should've stuck with my never buy jerseys of players rule. That's why I just stick with sports gear that has the logo of the team the players are really interchangeable.

I'm not sure how this is an "all in" move. Like how? Trading an expiring contract bench player for two expiring contract bench players isn't an "all in" move.

It's a cut throat move. It's a move showing how serious we are about winning a title this year. But it sacrifices nothing for our future, which "all in" moves do.

Has anyone checked on Paul George
He's been really close w/ Evan Turner since at least the draft, so while bittersweet he's definitely going to be excited to play with his boy.

Guess we finally have that high draft pick you need to win a title lol

Honestly, can't believe we scored a player like Turner for Danny the way he's been playing this year.

    This was Danny's Batman moment.
