Default OT - Hitting close to home

I don't know how many Indiana residents have been following the abduction of Katie Collman , but it has just rocked my world. I attended Crothersville High School, and graduated in 01. The school is extremely small so graduating class size is usually around 40-50 kids total, and you usually know just about all of your classmates. Well it turns out I know the suspect, not so well mind you becuase he was hardly in school to begin with plus he wasn't in my class. However the guy that was just arrested for false reporting and the supposed owner of the truck was in my graduating class and I had several classes with him back then. The whole thing is just surreal for me now, because things like this don't happen in C-ville too often...

I live like 10 minutes from where she was abducted. The ****er probably drove right by my house to get to Cypress Lake. It is really scary when a town like Crothersville is not safe anymore. We live in a ****ed up world people.

This is such a sad story, even here I know a lot of people who were related to her. I wish her family the best in dealing with this.

Stupidity and Meth do not mix at all.

The scary thing is that there might be some more accomplices...

I haven't been updated on this in about a day or so, why is they took her? She saw them making meth?

Has the right guy been caught? This false information thing has thrown me for a loop.

Wait, I'm guessing your link would have that stuff, right. Sorry, I will read it now. Didn't see it, what a sly inclusion of a link that was.

My grandparents lived next to known meth dealers/makers for many years, that is really scary *****. I am so glad they, both the dealers and my grandparents are gone from there.

The point is that you have to be almost legally retarded to try to make meth in an apartment complex. It's quite easy to know what was going on anyway, with a girl reporting something or not...

I actually know a murderer. Hung out with him a bit just a few years ago. He moved in with a couple in Georgia, killed them, and stole their pick-up truck. Thankfully, he was found and arrested in back in Indy, and is now serving life w/o parole. He had to admit it in order to avoid the death penalty.

I've seen Meth ruin a lot of people. I deal with Meth overdoses all the time, why in the name of God people do this to themselves is beyond me.

I'm also seeing an increase in Heroin again, God I thought we got rid of that crap back in the 90's. I had to treat a guy who I went to school with on a Meth overdose about a month ago, poor guy never came out of it.

It's a sad world & Meth is more around than you would ever believe.

I feel sorry for the family.

Defintely sad , just like that girl around christmas. I'll pray for the family and I don't know what I would do if this was one of my own children , it's gotta be hard on a family to lose someone so young.
