I think some things have been exposed though. Our bench looks lost at times because we have no prolific scorer. Like a Goran Dragic type. Nor can anyone off the bench really create for other guys if Lance is not on the floor. That's something Larry will have to fix at the deadline. Bynum was fixing the Mahinmi disaster. Something he tried to do once already by acquiring Robin Lopez. Good thing he was aware enough to take a second crack at it.
You are correct we do not have a "Goran Dragic" type on our bench. No one has a Goran Dragic type on their bench. Goran Dragic is the second best point guard in the NBA right now. His past 7 games he is averaging 27 points on 63% shooting.

I just feel like any of our "issues" are pretty freaking minor. I would take any of our issues over the issues SAS, OKC and Miami have right now personally.

Maybe it's not just the loss, but how the the Pacers lost the game that makes people so upset with the Orlando loss. The loosing of a 17 pt lead to a sub 500 team by sloppy lackadaisical play is deemed totally unacceptable.
thats absolutely it, and I was probably more pissed about the Orlando loss than any other loss this season. Well that Miami loss.... BUT I also realized it was one loss and its not a typical thing of the Pacers. I also realize while Orlando is a sub.500 team, they literally did the same thing to the Thunder a few nights earlier. There was absolutely an overreaction to that loss.

So maybe a Chris Paul-type player instead. Notice I didn't say it had to be Chris Paul, but somebody "like" Chris Paul would be really good to have as a backup PG.

And maybe a player like LeBron to back up the wing instead of Danny.

Actually one team does have a Goran Dragic type off their bench. Phoenix! He was their back up point guard before Bledsoe went down.

Yup. None other than Gerald Green replaced Bledsoe in the starting line up, not Dragic

I remember hearing different on TNT or ESPN. Plus, aren't they both PG's?

You absolutely heard wrong. They talked about how GG stepped up into the starting line up in Bledsoe's absence. Just look at Dragic's profile. Games played, 47, games started, 46 http://espn.go.com/nba/player/stats/...3/goran-dragic

The one game he didn't start was against the Pelicans on 11/10, which was the first game back after missing 3 games with a sprained left ankle.

In that case, good god their backcourt is tiny! 6'3 and 6'1? I guess it's the Milwaukee Bucks Jennings/Ellis experiment gone right?!

Well, Goran and Eric are willing passers and drivers, not jump shooters.

Plus there is a reason Bledsoe is called mini Lebron. He has great strength and good hops with long arms.

Plus Dragic has very long arms too. They can easily handle most backcourts right now. Especially with how few teams have dominant scorers at the 1 and 2.

When is Bledsoe coming back? I have him stashed on my fantasy team.

Just a quick thought, why not add the box score to the top of the post-game thread, I think it would be a good addition.

Once one of the outlets creates an embeddable box score, that would be great. But at this point, it would be a grab/snip, saved, upload to imgur, and insert the pic. I'm only at work for nine hours a day!

    Not necessarily.

    http://arizonasports.com/41/1697440/...l-from-surgery

With each passing day, Phoenix Suns point guard Eric Bledsoe gets closer to returning to the court.
While there remains no firm timetable -- all parties have expressed optimism of a post-All-Star break return -- the good news is Bledsoe has not suffered any setbacks in his recovery from arthroscopic knee surgery in January.
That article is dated February 3rd, and I haven't seen anything to suggest that has changed.

Plumlee reminds me of a young Dale Davis. Good rebounding and he contests shots well on defense and his offensive game is very raw just like DD's was coming out of college.

I'd rather have LeBron take 3rd string behind Danny. I realize this means LeBron may need to spend some time in Ft. Wayne, but we all know he needs minutes to work on his game.

My favorite moment of the game was the Danny dunk. Even if we lose Danny after this year I'll always root for him.

I'm not saying it has to be LeBron; it's hard to say whether Miami would be willing to move him for Copeland and Mahinmi. Do the salaries need to match? Maybe if we included some picks? Or threw in a trade exception? I'd hate to give up our young guys like Orlando Johnson or Solomon Hill. Maybe we could include some cash to match the salaries.

But that's beside the point. I didn't say it had to be LeBron, I said somebody LIKE LeBron. Don't put words in my mouth.
