but but but we lost to the magic

Great win for the Pacers!
And to people making dumb comments about having a short post game thread...complaining about people not complaining is so next level.
follow me @TruenoPanda - lets talk Pacers!
So, do you all remember the last time we beat the Nuggets?
Believe it or not, it was November of 2010.
Do you all remember the significance of this game? Yes, it was the 54 point 3rd quarter game.
Watching the video below brings back so many memories. Look at how empty the Fieldhouse is. Look at the players we had on the team at the time.
This game was literally one of the highlights of the year. Not sure about you guys, but I ***much*** prefer the 2014 version of a blowout.
David West. That is all.
Wow, an announced crowd of 16,124 on a Monday night vs. a sub 500 team lacking superstars? Word to the wise, get your tickets now!!!
Well, that happened.
I really respect all of those haters from the Orlando thread coming back tonight and acknowledging that the Pacers played well.
This team was PISSED about last night. Unfortunately for Brian Shaw and the Nuggets, a team that Indiana otherwise probably would have had no animosity towards, they got pounded as a result. They can blame Orlando (and a little bit on Violet Palmer ) for their loss tonight.

I actually thought Denver played pretty well, just in really tough straits having to play Anthony Randolph at all, let alone extended minutes. Wilson Chandler looked like he was going to cry on the Nuggets' uncrowded bench. DWest was unconscious, being all kinds of inappropriate with the bottom of the net. Player of the game goes to 'Sual though, for a very spry old-man dunk on the break.
Ian Report: The rebounds were nice, but part of that is due to the extended minutes (came in the first quarter at like the four minute mark) and the Nuggets' awful shooting. He really seemed to take the challenge of Mozgod more personally this time. Them two going back and forth at each other in garbage time was five dollar pay-per-view, really fun. They were the last points of the game, but he looked so comfortable on those last two free throws, contrasted with yesterday when he didn't want any part of the 15-footers. Everyone had fun tonight, especially Mr. Mahinmi. 'A-'. (The minus is because Anthony Randolph made a shot; doesn't matter the context, I can't abide that ****.)
The Pacers have blown two games in which they had 15+ point leads late. They followed those two games up with 30+ point wins.
If you **** these guys off, someone has to pay.

He's got more than one as a player and as an assistant with the Lakers. Winning one with Indiana wouldn't matter a lot to him unless it was from the HC position.

Good to see the team learned a valuable lesson from the Orlando game.
Step on the opponents throat until game is final.
What a way to respond after that tough loss, I missed it due to the second job
Larry Bird and Ryan Grigson- wasting the talents of Paul George and Andrew Luck
It is probably more the complete overreaction when we lose that goes a bit far. Yes, the Orlando loss was tough to swallow, but every team loses a game or two like that each year. The Heat had some bad losses in their title runs as well. Yet some people on here think the sky is falling just because we have one. Are there things that we can improve on? Of course. Could Paul work more on facilitating? Of course he can, but then people act like Paul is this finished product and seasoned vet in his early 30s. Hell, Durant is just not becoming a good facilitator and he has years on Paul. Then you throw in the fact that some users scream at the top of their lungs that the sky is falling when we lose, but then we come out and completely destroy an opponent and you hear nothing.
This was a fantastic response to the Orlando loss and the type of win I was hoping to see.
David West just abused them all night and it was fantastic to watch.
Rumors of West's demise have been greatly exaggerated. BAMF is back.
Also, Danny has been largely awful for a month now, but seeing him dunk made my cold, dead heart grow three sizes last night, and to everyone who said he would never dunk again I SAY GOOD DAY.
