Default Pacers / Blazers Post Game Thread - 2/7

GH3 was the man tonight....him and West.

Granger also came up big with some well timed and much needed offensive rebounds.

I'm glad that both GH and West were able to step up when Hibbert and PG24 weren't able to score.

Also....LMA with the Assist of the Night!

    Discuss.

This is David West, he is the Honey Badger, West just doesn't give a *****....he's pretty bad *ss cuz he has no regard for any other Player or Team whatsoever.

When we talk about this team and say that any given night, any of our starting 5 can carry the scoring load, we really mean it.

Damn GHill didn't know you had it in you kid!! Hell of a game! The game tying triple was cold blooded.

George and David carried this team big time, but this was a darn fun game to watch.

That was a freaking UNBELIEVABLE win!!!!! I'll give credit where its due, Damian Lillard is crazy mofo. I'm real proud of Hill for hanging toe to toe with him tonight and even more proud of PG, who was having an atrocious game, but hung with it defensively and came up with some REALLY big plays! West is freaking sweet, Rasual Butler is freaking sweet, Granger is freaking sweet, hell, this whole freaking team is freaking SWEET! I'm SO pumped right now!!!

I'm incredibly jealous of the 18k or whatever that got to witness that game live.

Wow. Wasn't always pretty, but certainly fun to watch.

I've always believed we play our best offensively when GH is playing aggressively offensively. He's a scorer, and a good decision maker...look to put it in the basket kid!

I really think Larry needs to sit Paul down and talk to him about what being a franchise player means.

Hill has been the ultimate team player all season. He's deferred to Lance and PG on offense and never pouts or seems to complain about it. Then when Lance is out and PG is playing like complete garbage, he steps up big time to have the game of his life. My favorite play was near the end of the game when he recognized a mismatch on a pick and roll switch with the slower Aldridge on him. He took it straight to the rack. Just a beautiful game from Hill. I feel bad for complaining in the game thread about Lillard taking it to him in the first half.

West has been the best player on the team over the last couple of weeks. He's posting up, he's hitting jumpers, he's scrapping for balls, he's playing solid defense, and he's just making good plays. He looks like last year's West out there. I thought he looked a bit old at times at the start of this season, but he's really come into form in recent weeks. He's just such a well oiled machine on offense when he has it all together. The steal and dunk at the end was huge.

Paul George's night: Force a horrible shot, miss it badly, then complain to the refs. Rinse, lather, repeat. Hit a couple of big shots down the stretch, but wow that was a hideous game.

Lopez completely outplayed Hibert. Badly. That was tough to watch. I guess he just wouldn't be Roy if he didn't have those games where he completely disappears.

Granger had some big rebounds down the stretch, but you can tell that the heavy minutes got to him. He just had no lift out there.

Big game from Butler off the bench. Loved that scrappy offensive rebound that led to a made shot.

I thought the team missed Lance big time in the first half on the offensive end. There was just a lack of creativity, creation, and ball movement. The impact of his absence was lessened in the second half when Hill and West were each having the best games of the season, but you could definitely feel his loss tonight. I don't think that game goes into OT with him in there.

This season has largely belonged to PG and Lance, but it's nice to see Hill and West remind everyone how good they still are. This team can attack you so many ways.

Magic P, The Future, Millertime have disappeared. What a shock.
Don't worry about them, hopefully this game will serve as an eye opener for them, and they will change their tune in the future. No need to rub it in their faces.
