    Batum and Matthews are solid.
They're alright.... but Portland doesn't have Indiana's depth.

Going to be hard to like Bynum. Just looking at him there...something just doesn't strike me right about him.

This game tells us that Hill and West are both still pretty damn good, but have simply taken a bit of a back seat on offense this season because of Lance and PG.

I think that West has been our best player over the last couple of weeks. He has really turned it on lately.

I'm glad that Hill kept this type of game in his locker for when we really needed it (PG & Roy playing horrible) instead of putting up 30+ in a blowout win against say the Magic etc.
It's like Hill can always pull that kind of game out when the team needs it. Kind of frustrating. He really does need to take a lead role scoring. Just give Lance the ball and let everyone else score.

Now Lillard knows how PG feels, hitting everything in a losing effort.

Hopefully we didn't need this game to tell us that. I never lost confidence in either; it's been pretty obvious that they have sacrificed for the team.

This is why home court advantage is key.

Right, I agree. It's been a good thing in West's case because he is old and I'm fine with him conserving energy for the stretch run and into the playoffs. But he's just been on fire lately. Looks like last year's West.

Hill is the ultimate team player. He's stepped aside a lot on offense for Lance and PG this year, but you never see him complain or pout. Then when Lance is out and PG is playing awful, Hill takes over.

Obviously we need Granger to do his part, but the most important thing to me is making sure George Hill steps it up/has an aggressive approach on the offensive end tonight. I want GH penetrating and driving to the hoop tonight like we all know he's capable of doing.
I have to say that while I thought Hill was definitely going to be a major key tonight, I didn't think he would be putting up 37.

We routinely saw this level of play in the late 1990's. The offense was a highly tuned machine at the time.

If anything, this emphasizes even more how good of a team we've got, and the fact that we've got to keep our entire starting five involved offensively

Sacrificed a bit much if you ask me. But I think as the season wears on, and games become more important, they'll become more important factors within our offense
