That's a great signing. No risk, high potential reward.

I will assume that means Brown isn't coming back. So we head into the season with Ballard/Bradshaw/Richardson in the backfield with no clear idea as to how the depth chart will shake out.

I thought he was still with the Heat
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

You know... I wouldn't mind James Jones at all. If the price is right. Probably cheaper and more productive than Decker.

I think we have to sign one of Decker, Jones, or Nicks... We don't know how Reggie is gonna bounce back...can't just go into the year with only TY and unproven receivers. But so far I like what Grigs has done. Jones and Jackson are two solid starters that are gonna make the D better. I like resigning Vontae, Adam V, Pat, and Bradshaw. And I liked letting Bethea go at that price. Now we just need WR, Safety, OL, and maybe a CB. Hopefully we can take care of all the remaining issues with the remaining money and the draft.

So his college coach traded for him. Interesting. I bet that makes it easier for him to play again.

    Denver signed Aqib Talib

For the second consecutive year, the Denver Broncos have stolen an elite free agent player from the AFC rival New England Patriots.

This year, it's cornerback Aqib Talib, who agreed to a six-year deal with the Broncos on Tuesday night. ESPN reported the contract is worth $57 million, including $26 million guaranteed.

That's insane money. At least Davis stays mostly healthy. All in with Manning I guess.

Wow, crazy how the Broncos have taken the Pats' biggest free agent for the second straight year.

Verner also signed for 4 Yrs 26.5 MIL with 14 MIL guaranteed. I still feel like this deal could come back to bite the Colts. Like said above the only way I see it as palatable is if the first two years are guaranteed salary and he could be cut in years 3 or 4 with minimal dead money.

Davis was not particularly good in the 2nd half of last season.

It's the name of the game when it comes to FA. Once the market is set, you have to pay talented players. There's no way we could have gone into the draft without a starting CB on the roster. It would make all the other defensive additions a moot point

Here are Adam's numbers. I don't think we had these yet.

Hate that we are paying him that much, but I guess it is just for two years so we will see.
    Why so SERIOUS

I here you. The Colt's defense does not seem to perform well without the the ability to play press coverage.

I don't always agree with who Gigson signs but in most cases he does structure the contracts in ways that give the team an out if the player doesn't perform.

Still won't make a difference either

I do however find Belichick's comments on Welker/Talib even funnier in retrospect because of this news.

Elway is efficient that's for sure.

But I'm reserving judgment on this particular move.
