    Default All star reserves

A bit surprised I haven't seen a thread on this. If there is please merge.

About an hour to go until they are named, and I'm hoping our boys hibbs and lance gets the nob, maybe even west.

Who are you choices for east and west res, and who are your snubs. Should be fun to review after they're announced

    No Lance...

"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

This could be good for us... Should keep Lance hungry and lower his market value by a mil or three...

I felt like Lance deserved to make it, but two positives from him not making it:

    1) It's probably going to slightly helps the Pacers when attempting to re-sign Lance during this off-season

    2) It gives Lance even more motivation to play with an edge the rest of the year

Yikes, so Pacers only have two all-stars?

So I get the feeling that the Pacers will still have 3 all-stars with West making it, otherwise I got no clue what the hell the coaches are thinking. Maybe they don't like being beaten down by the Pacers.

I want to see this "heavily contested" back court of the East. I seriously think other teams hate his guts.

Mainly should just update Woj's page, but for East he has Hibbert and Noah in. Got to assume Bosh also will get a frontcourt slot.

The West, Lillard and Parker are known in but not much surprise there.

Ok, so John Wall (confirmed), and Aaron Afflalo I assume will be in...are they going to put Joe Johnson in? Evan Turner, I mean who is getting in really?

EDIT: Oh a Toronto guard, either Lowry or DeRozan I assume, better not be both.

Not surprised. I know we all want Lance in, but the East is the perfect combination of bad with emerging/promising players, that you could easily vote 3-4 guys into that spot. First-timer chances notorious for being passed over. Couple that with fact Lance probably pissed off a few coaches with swing votes, and the result isn't too surprising.

I wouldn't blame Lance for being pissed tonight. For a player, that's a big deal. But I hope he doesn't let it weigh on him too long. He needs a championship/beat the Heat chip on his shoulder, not an All Star snub chip on his shoulder!

DWEST should get the nod over Lance imho. not a slight on lance at all. but DWEST is a BAMF. my thoughts are DWEST would rather it be Lance so he can get some rest. Can a player decline the invite if he so chooses?

No one in the world can convince me that DeRozan is a better player than Lance Stephenson.

DWest has played nothing like an All-Star this year.

I love the guy, but lets be realistic.

It is the All-Star game, it isn't always about who is better. When you are second in scoring at your position in the whole league you are probably going to get the nod over someone who is the third option on his team.

I don't really think so either, but I think the NBA all-star team a lot of the time is like the Pro-Bowl was, where you get picked even after you were really great.

If anyone else besides Indiana and Miami gets 2 all-stars in the East, I won't be very happy.
