OKC's bench absolutely fits that bill.

Not really. He was the only player that gave it his all tonight.
Never said anything at all about his effort...but on his last play he had a wide open 8 footer and instead tried to make a pass that simply wasnt there...and for one reason only...triple double...and we all know it

He's just telling you in a polite way that what you said about OKC was 100% wrong.

Tired or not this team does not look capable of winning a title. Title level teams learn from their mistakes. How many of our losses could have been avoided by not sleepwalking through the first half. And we still arent doing it.

We continue to whine to the officials not realizing we arent the Heat. Thus its counter productive. And we continue to run plays for the open man which is normally fine. But when that person is 6 for 20 its time to stop especially during an attempted comeback.

If our nonchalance in the regular season costs us HCA its gonna feel real crappy going back to the eventual game 7 in Miami.

I'm afraid that I don't understand what you mean.

Edit: Ok, I got it now. I thought that the word "live" was used as an adverb and that threw the whole sentence out of whack. You probably meant it to be used as a verb which makes a lot more sense but it went way over my head

I really don't think that this was the reason. He was 3 assists away from the triple double and he knew that he wasn't going to take it. He probably considered a pass to the cutting Scola a better play than a leaning 8 footer from him.

Title level teams learn from their mistakes but they don't exhibit this in January. No team should play all their cards this early in the season. We will see if we have learned from our mistakes in the playoffs. That's the do-or-die time.

Every team has losses that could have been avoided if they were not sleepwalking through a portion of the game. Title teams have those losses, playoff teams have those losses, treadmill teams have those losses, mediocre teams have those losses, heck, even bottom feeders have those losses.

However, at some point you have to realize that you're not playing by yourself. There is always a team that is playing against you and sometimes this team is the reason that you seem to be sleepwalking. The Nuggets were faster than us tonight. They had more energy, they had more speed, they had more explosiveness. They exploited their quickness advantage and played in a high tempo. We failed to control the pace of the game and we got caught up in their high tempo. That's why both Roy and Ian fouled out. They couldn't keep up with the tempo of the game and weren't able to get in position fast enough to contest shots.

The Nuggets played really smart tonight. They outplayed us. You have to give them credit for that.

I didn't hardly have much interest in watching tonight because I had this one down as a loss. Back to back game. OT last night. Big comeback needed. High altitude game. Shaw would be up for it and the Pacers not so much.

    So a loss isn't surprising.
Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

There was no leaning...he was wide open...and scola wasnt really cutting...and Scola was double covered....it was so grotesquely obvious..

    This...

Its getting worse...and we are developing a bad reputation amongst the officials...hence why they are swallowing their whistles when we need them and calling lane violations on lance during free throws...its a battle we cant win...the flashbacks to the JO teams are becoming more and more frequent...and I know how that story ends if it doesnt change course...Im assuming Larry is letting them have a lot of rope since he likes to be hands off...but I know he sees it too...soooooo....

Lance would have to have to take a leaning momentum shot because the Nuggets defender was closing in to him. Scola wasn't really double covered. If anything, he would be wide open under the hoop if the pass had went through. The defender that was close to the rim had committed on Lance and Faried (the one who stole the ball) was playing the passing lane and thus wouldn't be able to keep up if the pass had went through.

That's what I remember at least. It really isn't a big issue, imo

I knew we were going to lose this game, but for those who are so butt-hurt about it, man after reading this post I just want to thank this so many times, we just aren't a regular season team, even Larry Bird said so, and for those of you who profess to love Larry Bird, you sure do ignore what he says.
