Man ....... some of you guys would probably complain about hooking up with the ugliest Playmate of the Month at the Mansion.

Just more reason why PG is going to get serious consideration
for MVP. Inside, outside, defense, he's been spectacular at
everything. We are unbelievably blessed to have him.

Wow. I didn't think Pacers would do this... Not cool, IMHO.
I'm not surprised. Those two guys are young and as much as I like Paul George he's extremely confident to the point of being nonchalant. It just doesn't come off as pure arrogance like some players. Here though, he got a little carried away but I don't blame him one bit. A little celebration is in order. They are not being disrespectful.

Lol I wouldn't call that "clear".

When Thomas came to BLF Hill kept him in check. Of course Thomas got clear from Hill because of the pivot screens from Gray. They finally called it, but he was doing it all game. Hill might of got lit up, be he also got that steal and dish to PG. Hill isn't flashy. He plays within his skill and within the game. He will miss passes. He will funnel players to the right spot. He won't go for the rip. He will be in position and count on the system.

He made mistakes with Thomas for sure. But he took 31 shots to get 38 points. He shot 41% from the field.

Lance played horrible defense. If you are taking the good with the bad with Lance. Then you have to do that with all the players.

These slow starts have got to stop. I really wish the team would address this.

    What is wrong with Scola?

I think the slow starts really rear their ugly head when out west facing teams that like to run and score a lot of points.
That pace is fine during the regular season but in the playoffs the pace slows and the Pacers shine. Plus you game plan for just one team and really knuckle down on stopping their offense.

Haha....I agree! It's like no one realizes that this time of year most players are dragging a little....Especially the players that belong to the team w/ the league's best record.....

You think that there are posters on here that think that Hibbert is the most important Player on the Team....specifically over the acknowledged Franchise Player of the Pacers that just earned his MAX Level Contract?

I do think that Hibbert is the most important Defensive Player on the Team....which is all together different.
Uh there were as of the last PD party last summer. I was on the PG side but many argued Roy was tougher to replace so he gets the nod, but I think at this point PG has ended that discussion

Think we'll get the Google Glass version of PG's 4 point play?

Pizza Baby did some good things in 4thQ and OT which is why many of you feel he was unstoppable, but I'll take 13/31 out of a 5'10" point guard every day you're not going to close out many teams shooting like that. G. Hill did fine on him. He also had 5 turnovers.

Lance and PG getting torched by Thornton for 3 quarters was way more inexcusable. I think we were down 1 and they both completely lost him and he hit a 3 that pushed it back to 4 point lead. I think this was around 73-72.

Paul has made big plays which I'm ok with, but his effort on defense in PHX and Sacto during regulation was pretty meh. Obviously the steal was huge and like I said he stepped up when it mattered but really have felt like he has not been dialed in on D the past couple games.

I'm not sure I've seen Paul George play a better game. The funny thing is it didn't feel like he did much until the fourth quarter. It almost felt like he was just playing with the Kings.

    PG's 4 point play was a "superstar call," I'm jus'sayin
I don't know maybe, but Paul's jumper leaves his elbow out and people catch him there. It's the same thing that happened in Miami and earlier this year in NYC

I rewatched it just now I guess they called the hip check? I thought Williams caught his elbow watching live, but maybe not

Also I talked about this on twitter but EVERYONE around the team has all star fever.

The Pacers are down by 15+ or whatever in the first half and all Denari can keep doing is jerking off about his all star reserve picks at half time. He must have plugged it 5+ times in the first half. It was unbelievably annoying. Like the team is getting housed and all the play by play guy can talk about is teasing his freaking all star reserve picks at the half. NO ONE CARES.

Also, I'm really glad PG is an all star starter, but it does not need to be mentioned litreally every time he is talked about. Let's focus back on the larger goals.

    Lol.

Denari probably thinks that Luis Scola should be an all star this year.

I agree that the continuation was generous. Then again, I do remember the precedent for continuation on a four point play being set about fifteen years ago...
Thank God the ref missed the hip check by West that sent Williams into George.

You could watch hours of Soul Train from the 70's and you won't see a better "the bump" move.

The Pacers got very lucky down the stretch but the refs were very inconsistent all game. Not favoring one team but just lots of random calls. All 3 of those techs came off missed or random calls. The Pacers should know better than that but they way they were calling the game definitely varied between letting them play and then calling weird touch fouls.

Thomas and Thornton both got hot. Without Gay and Cousins there to soak up a whole lot of shots, streaky players like those 2 will get it going sometimes, they hit a bunch of tough shots but our transition defense let them have a whole lot of uncontested ones also.

I don't think Hill was defending Thomas particularly badly, he is one of the best pick and roll PGs in the league in terms of getting into the lane.
