I'm still in shock lol, both from happiness and a little disappointment, mostly happy though. I thought it was going to be Phoenix all over again, but they slowly cut in, and cut in, then got it.

All I know is that if this had happened in the Phoenix game, they would've had to take me out in an ambulance, I would've had a heart attack somewhere down the line.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

I'll give it up for Paul in that he pulled this one out but if we lost it would have been on the horrible defense Paul and Lance played for the first 3 quarters. Had our perimeter D been average we would have blown this game out in regulation. All I can say for those who are dogging on Hibbert is that you're only looking at one side of the game. Roy and West forced their entire offense into jump shooting game. Without our interior D we would have been blown out.
I'll come out and say it. I still think Roy is our most valuable player.

Kudos to Vogel for making the switch of George on Thomas defensively too on their last chance.

Paul's 4pt play was unreal, but his Dirk shot was even better and that steal was so smooth, just incredible really. On that steal it's almost like Paul had that Matrix moment where everything slowed down.

And who said George Hill had a rough game? 10/8/8 and three steals is rough? One of those steals led to the breakaway dunk by PG. I wish all of Hill's games were that rough.

I know it was just 1/82 in the regular season... Against a fairly poor team, missing two of their best players. Yes, I know.

But goodness, that was one of the most exciting wins I can remember in a while.

You think that there are posters on here that think that Hibbert is the most important Player on the Team....specifically over the acknowledged Franchise Player of the Pacers that just earned his MAX Level Contract?

I do think that Hibbert is the most important Defensive Player on the Team....which is all together different.

I woke up at 7:40 a.m. local hour because of a job I have in half an hour and saw it went to overtime. Glad to see it live.

Don't know how it panned out but we got the win and that's what matters.

We have got to stop taking so many jumpers on the road like this. It's no coincidence that we came back by getting to the foul line and getting the ball down low. Our strength is our inside game, so utilize it. ESPECIALLY when their best big is out.

scrub teams are lighting us up. pacers are getting everyones best punch so far on the WC trip.

this is definitely a game we probably should have lost if not for the heroic finish by PG. He is the Franchise.

One question Im kinda wondering about is why the coaching staff doesn't get a 2 man game rolling with PG and DWEST. Would love to see PG and DWEST work togethter more than they do at this time. Is what it is but seems like those two are the catalysts of our offense with Lance taking up all the scraps.. and leaving lil for GHill and Big Dawg.

PG and DWEST need to get in sync offensively with PnP. Vogel is experiementing.. tonite we seemed to work the passing game with Lance facilitating in the post.. nice new wrinkle in our O.

What is up with Luis, his jumper isn't falling, and Danny cant find shots. CJ was lil off tonite as well. This would have been a crushing defeat.

We really pulled one out of the fire tonite.

Pacers gotta play better to get a win in Denver. Frustrating win. Thomas kid could pretty much get into the lane at will. Thortons performance was fluky but Thomas owned us in the paint.

Our 2nd unit has to play better. That does not include Ian who has been playing great and doing everything we could ask. Luis Danny and CJ gotta find some offense. Seems like no one shares the ball in the 2nd unit. Maybe looking for shots too quickly. Given they have not played together like our starting 5 we gotta figure this out before the postseason.

Anyone know if Nate McMillen for the most part conducts the 2nd unit practices. Not that it matters I guess just something I read he does. our 2nd unit should be dominating. gotta step it up.

thrilled to see Danny doing ok,, he still needs another month I think before he gets back into form. at least lets hope.

    gutsy win.

PG is the Franchise. Lance played great as well as did DWEST. everybody else kinda sucked. Hibbs D was great but not much offense. GHILL may as well been sitting on the bench and our 2nd unit was bad except Mahinmi.

I do want to partially defend the guys picking on Roy. I would agree with anyone who says Roy is tough as nails in the defensive paint. In other aspects of the game, Roy plays hard. But I honestly believe him to be soft offensively and as a rebounder.

At this stage, I don't think much can be done to provide Roy better balance and stability. He gets knocked off his path and position a lot and is on the floor a lot. But, there is a lot that Roy could do to improve his ability to catch and grasp the ball better by improving his forearm and hand strength. I hope he focuses just as much on that this summer as he does on his workouts in Texas.
gotta agree. Big Dawg leaves a lot to be desired offensively and on the glass at times. Good to see him pump fake it once tonite. That worked out well for a 3 pt play.

Roy needs to get deeper positioning in the post. No Cousins tonite.. Roy has got to take advantage.

It was an exciting game and experience won in the end. Had either Cousins or Gay been able to play, it might have been different. If we had to lose a heartbreaker, I'm glad it was to you guys. If it was Miami, my TV would not be functioning at this moment.

Not sure what you guys did to Marcus Thornton once upon a time, but he hasn't played like that all year.

Keep on keepin' on. I want to see you guys playing in June. I'm sick and tired of the Heat.

Defensively it was rough (as was Paul George in 1st half, Lance throughout). Allowing penetration is bad enough by itself, but consistently throughout the game, Hill also gave a direct line to the basket in allowing this.

Rough was maybe a bit description from my part because I make it sound like he was more culpable of this than PG24 and Lance...he wasn't. I just notice when Hill turns you over on the perimeter (which hasn't been a regularity this season, but has been a problem this road trip), he often concedes a really soft angle to the basket. George is more likely to still challenge and force defender away from basket (usually fouls doing this). Stephenson...who knows what you get any defensive possession.

We need more offense off our bench. I think trading Danny would be a good idea now. We need someone more offensively aggressive off the bench. We can trade Danny for a 3 with a similar game like his, who's also on an expiring contract. Trading for Thornton wouldn't be a bad idea either. To back up Lance. But we must move Danny for a more offensively aggressive player. That player would open things up for Scola, CJ, and other guys.

You're a year or two away from being really, really good. Makings of a very good and fun team.

We were lucky to get away with this win.
