Can we take Pollard out of the trade? I like his hustle, Bender, Johnson can go. I would trade them for anything right now.

Uh yeah I would take that. I love Pollard this year but Hulk will come along. I think any trade with Portland would need to include Freddie though.

No chance Portland makes that trade. Look at the numbers Przybilla has been putting up since starting and he's only 25. He's a young, active center who's giving them quality starting minutes.

Also, why would Portland want to trade two expiring contracts for Anthony Johnson, Scott Pollard or Jonathan Bender? They don't have any use for any of those players. The Blazers need SG's in a desprate way, any trade talk with them starts with Freddie and goes from there.

I wouldn't have said this last year, but this year I'd rather Foster be in any trades than Pollard.

IMHO Pollard is the better center between the two and better for the Pacers.

I do worry about his back problems tho.

Then again, if we are relying on Foster for our center spot we'll have problems anyway. Game to game is one thing. Playoff competition is another.

Nuntius was right. I was wrong. Frank Vogel has retained his job.

I agree that Polly at this moment is the better C

I am merely waiting to see him starting, I think all that stops it is the uncertainty about his back.

I absolutely love Pollard. I think he is great for this team and I would guess he is great in the locker room. But you can't take a chance on his back. That kind of a problem can be crippling.

Lessee...1 of our C's has head trouble...1 has back trouble...and 1 can't find his arse right now...yep, we pretty well have the C position covered.

    TRADE ACCEPTED

Due to Indiana and Portland being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. Indiana and Portland had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
