George Hill played great. I don't think Lance Stephenson or Paul George really played great, but Stephenson finished with 14/10/7 and George finished with 23 pts. This team is so good
    Welcome back George Hill!

Pretty much everyone was pretty solid except Scola, he wasn't very good sadly, he did hit a jumper when they got real close though.

The NBA/Warriors should be ashamed for the floor tonight, whatever they did made it really awful. Mostly just glad to get out of there injury free.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

TNT: Paul George really stroking it. Next time he should go to a Target (hahahaha)
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

Yeah, the Dubs are just too inconsistent at the moment. Ten game winning streak where they look like title contenders, then back down to below crust, giving up major leads in their own building. Very exciting game, almost always is in Oakland. Very proud of this win, as I thought it was somewhat unlikely.

Ian Report: He score six with 2-2 from the field and 2-2 (!!!) from the line. He always will get high marks from me when making his free throws. Also, patrolled the paint well despite occasional lapses from our PFs. I don't know how he doesn't get a block on the Draymond dunk attempt; seems like a successful challenge at the rim has to result in a block of some sort. Scorekeepers around the league continue to try to bring him down. But not today! He, Lance and Roy made herculean efforts on the offensive glass after our very hot start in the first quarter. Haven't given him one in a while, but **** it, this was a great win, 'A'!

Great win despite Scola playing the role of turnover, fumble machine. I realize his importance to the team, but sometimes he tries to do things he's just not capable of offensive wise. His ability to hit the open mid-range jumper is something we sorely needed last year though.

I didn't think Danny looked good. On the other hand, he didn't force anything either.

I'll be honest, I didn't think we were going to pull this one out. Ugly, ugly, ugly. Glad to come away with an uninjured win.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

Klay Thompson, I can't believe he said that. Wonder if they will make him apologize. I could not stop laughing though.

When Golden State went on that huge run, the Pacers of the past would have found a way to lose the game. Heck, even the Pacers of last year might have got an L. But we keep seeing these guys mature, especially Lance. I never thought once during this game that we were going to lose. Our defense will always keep us in games, and this is especially important come playoff time.

Yeah, I guess I didn't notice Danny in this game really one way or the other. It was an excellent 2.5 quarters then about 1 quarter of crap, then surviving the last 6 minutes or so, I thought it was a fun entertaining game. May sound weird but almost if I had a choice of any Warrior player to add to my team I'd pick Klay Thompson first, Curry just doesn't play D, and is turnover prone.

Great team win.. Also, Anyone else bothered by the Warriors? Curry's always trying to act hard vs us..
Shame because I really like him.. Loved the way, Lance trucked him and gave him the death stare.

Back to the game.. PG played some great defense there in the 4th. Team got shafted in the 4th, They didn't let us play
and allowed GS to hack us with no remorse.. Felt like we were playing vs Mia and their non stop hacking.

Proud of our guys.. The toughest team is out the way, Let's keep it rolling.. And to the doubters!

    11-2 vs the mighty west.

    By me ^^

    Really, really great win.

What to like: At one point, the game was at 3 points, after being up by 20. Instead of freaking out, and getting flustered... they scored like 6 consecutive points, with simple effective plays. Their poise is impressive.

We did a pretty decent job busting the zone given how poorly we've traditionally done with it over the past 2-3 years. Good Lance is an important piece for zone defenses.

What not to like: Lance is starting to feel a little too good about his shot. Way too many possessions early in the game of: dribble for 10-12 seconds, and take a long, ill-advised shot.

Luis needs to come up with some strategies that are a more graceful response to double teams. The zone collapsed on him a few times, and he took steps, odd pivots, and just got crushed.

I didn't catch what he said, but I would guess he's referring to Kellen Winslow Jr. caught masturbating in a Target parking lot. I'm not going to spell it out anymore

Amen on both of your what not to like points.

I give Stephenson a lot of credit, tonight was just another example of how far he has come as a player this season. In years past a bad start to a game where Lance wasn't hitting or didn't get engaged early meant that you could almost assuredly count on a looooong and terrible game from him. Tonight, however, he played awful in the first half was forcing his shot a bit and couldn't buy a basket, but instead of letting that bad first half take him completely out of the game he found a way to play a great 2nd half and ended up with ANOTHER near triple double and hit arguably the biggest shot of the game. It's really amazing how even his not so great games you look at the stats and are like wow he almost triple doubled again. He just fills the stat sheet every night now.
