He should decline the dunk contest until they change the rules. The dunk contest has turned into a total joke at this point. Um.....lets see......give the guys like ten tries to complete a dunk.....ridiculous.
And drop the fan vote from the Finals, and retroactively strip Jeremy Evans of his fraudulent dunk championship.

Yes, Im still bitter about that. I refuse to see anything involving Kevin Hart because of his role in Evans usurping of PGs title.

Unfortunately, superstars don't typically compete in these events. It's more of a compliment from the league that George has reached this level. Blah.

LeBron is still too much of a pussy to go into the dunk contest, as always. Despite the last ten-plus years of invites, I'm sure. And I don't think he could pull off what PG did last night, for the record.

Me neither. It seems like LeBron always does very basic dunks, he just does them with a lot of intensity. I've never been all that impressed with any of his dunks honestly.

LeBron is a power dunker. He really isn't all that creative when it comes to dunking. He wouldn't fare well in the Dunk contest.

I'd like to see Lance in the skills challenge, if he makes the all-star game.

For George, he's already been in these before and has already made a name for himself, so he doesn't have anything to prove.

Though the chances are slim, George said he'll consider competing in an event, and he plans to decide in the next few days.

Paul George was asked to take part in the slam dunk, 3pt, skills challenge at All-Stars. Hasn't declined, but rather enjoy the weekend.
I am guessing the team would prefer he save his energy, and just relax a bit. We've seen the difference having a couple days off can make for him.

PG is too big time for the lowly dunk contest. Star players don't mess with it

It may be the trend now. But many starters in the Allstar game took to the 3point competition and even the dunk contest. This whole idea of being above it is juvenile.

It's now Paul's world and we're all just living in it, I'm cool with that.

And just saw PG was named Eastern Conference POW

    It is certainly well deserved.
