I know some of us on here are old school, but, guys, Michael Jackson mainstreamed that move about 30 years ago.
I would like to see the video of that

I gotta wonder what TV/Movies/Music people are watching/listening too, if they consider air humping over the line. The NBA is pretty tame when looking at the rest of what's on the tube.

    Give me this:

What if someone from a school of business or management school were to ask, How did you do this? How did you get the Pacers turned around? Is there a general approach you've taken that can be summarized?

    Larry Bird: Yeah, patience.

I agree with that but I don't think that celebrating an exciting play is classless.

That's as may be, but the latter is the point of the whole thing (whether offensive or not), while the former thrusts (sic) its way into something that is entirely separate. I can choose not to watch Haley. Hard to make that choice in the middle of a basketball game.

The fact that you haven't seen it yet pretty much makes my point.

Lance has shown himself to be very amenable to guidance from above. I suspect we'll see a lot less of the dance in the future. More swooping eagle (or whatever that is) maybe.

I can come up with a lot more examples. Ever watched an episode of Two and a Half Men?

No, he should not. Absolutely not!

I only wish Tyler had worked out here, because he has a way of pi$$ing off opponents too.

It's a time and place thing to me. I'm not trying to convert anyone to my feelings on the matter, and in any case I'm not saying I'm offended by it. And I didn't watch that performance, either.

At the beginning of the season I probably would have agreed that Lance needs to tone it down a little, but something happened recently that's made me re-think things.

When we played Boston at home at the end of December, Lance moonwalked his way to a triple double. During the game Tommy Heinsohn was upset with Lance's dancing, and the next day I heard another Boston homer, possibly Bill Simmons, complaining about Lance. Now I get that it can be annoying to have someone beat you and then pelvic thrust in your face, but you had Kevin Garnett for ten years! Some of the stuff KG pulls is straight disrespectful, and you're complaining about a Lance shimmy? All this made me realize teams are gonna get mad no matter what when you beat them, complaining about Lance is something they can get self-righteous about and pretend like they care about the sanctity of the game. They don't care about it when they're winning, it's just an easy thing to complain about when they lose.

The Heat treated Rajon Rondo like a human punching bag for two seasons. The Spurs with Bruce Bowen were running a hit squad on opposing players, hurting guys on purpose. KG is a psychopath. The other teams got mad, and these guys won titles.

So if Lance wants to put a little flavor in his game, I'm all for it.

I'm assuming it meant that they only watch MTV as often as Haley's Comet comes around.

Lance is awesome. Stop trying to find ways to not like him. If he wants to be confident let him be confident.

Lance can do whatever he wants to so long as whatever it is
doesn't get him tee'ed-up. I absolutely love watching the

We would not be where we are without Lance's energy. It's irreplaceable. See the Atlanta game. How Lance channels his energy is by doing some of the antics. I have 0 problems with it as long as it's clean and not affecting team chemistry.

As far as the thrusting, I feel like he did this in the moment and knew he probably shouldn't. On the fast break with JR Smith I felt like he was going to do it again but stopped himself.

Lance does something pretty minor after he makes a great play. I think a big part of the reason it gains attention is because the play was spectacular...not that his antics are that extreme. I would say the hip thrust was a bit much But much of what he does isn't that different from other players. It's his game that is spectacular.

Guys, that was not a hump. Its called a hip roll. Its a dance.. it was harmless. I mostly lurk here these days, and I'm glad these are the kind of things we're concerned about instead of wondering why we can't get a win streak going.

I don't care if Lance celebrates or not as long as he continues to do what he's doing in a Pacers uni.
