This team is the buzzsaw right now. Don't really have a weakness right now or at least one I can see.

Our bench could be the 3 seed arguably.
If you include Lance on the bench with Danny, then I'd definitely agree. Ian/Scola/Danny/Lance/CJ is better than the teams we had in Danny's prime.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

    That is awesome, Dr. Awesome.

Average game by Roy. Waiting for 55 to play BIG!

When BIG DAWG learns to play like he is 7'12 he will be a legend.

Play BIG. Barkley was 6'4 and played 6'11. Roy plays like he is 7'2. PLAY BIG 55!!

I just don't get how this team turns the ball over more than 8 times a game.

The Pacers are at an entirely different level compared to last year. Both the starting unit and the bench are much better. I personally think we are going to the finals. I just don't know if we win it.

Interesting stat line after an article with Bird saying the team has a serious weakness with the turnovers. I was wondering how much of that
can be corrected by effort and how much is their nature?

I feel like Lance is playing the point guard role even more than George Hill is at this point. It really doesn't matter for this team, but Lance has been bringing the ball up much more often and making plays. I think Frank is slowly getting Lance ready to play the point position for the majority of the playoffs especially against Miami. There's no way Miami will be able to play their defense with two guys on Lance like they did with Ghill last year. Lance will just find the open player. I love having GHill on the team, but I think he will be more comfortable playing the SG position more as he is now. They can both divide their time at the PG position with Lance getting a little more time.

I thought Larry Legend was crazy when he said Lance was the teams most gifted player. It was the only time I ever questioned the Legend and I was wrong and will never do it again. After all I am just a fan and he is Basketball Jesus.
Good is the enemy of Great

We're changing the identity of our basketball team -- dramatically. We're a power post team -- a blood-and-guts, old-school, smash-mouth team that plays with size, strength, speed and athleticism. We attack the basket. . . . This is the new identity of our team. It was a great effort. I'm very proud of our guys."

I predict that the Knicks will go on another streak, a streak of losing again. Don't think they will recover from this. They was totally wowed, stunned and depressed by that beating.

    Love this team, Go Pacers!

I don't really care a lot for the definition of "point guard" and "shooting guard".

What I know is this. Giving Lance the keys to the bench was an amazing idea. His play there gave him so much confidence in himself that he now can do it on a consistent basis with the starters. He is the one that gets to create for our team most of the time and that's exactly how it should be. I don't really care if you call that "point guard" or "shooting guard". I'll stick with shot creator

born ready still got way too much shake n bake. he gets w the 2nd unit and wants to shine but some one needs to send him the memo that luis, danny, and cj only need a simple pass to succeed.

the highlight reel pass to mahinmi is less advantageous than kicking to the wing or pnp 4 danny/luis.

way too much shake n bake

We need to clear 10 mil for him somehow. I think he would accept that, he knows how perfect of a fit this is for him. Maybe if we win a title it will convince herb to go a little into the luxury tax
