Yeah, I've done that before, but when I do it I lose all of my saved passwords for sites that I care about. For me, it's just not worth the trouble. Is there a way to do it where you only clear your Star cookies?
In firefox Tools -> Options -> Privacy and click on "remove individual cookies". Find the one for indystar.com. Click on it and click "Remove cookies" (NOT "Remove All Cookies")

What does that do other than turn yet another Indystar reporter into an anti-Pacers crusader? Mockery in this case would just be a bunch of people proving her point.

I can sympathize with the lady and her son being upset, but I agree it really isn't worthy of an article. The letters or "sound off" section maybe.

I will say that I absolutely detest sitting that high in the Balcony, and the fear of falling forward while shuffling to your seat is very real for me. There is so little leg room there that one could knock your head against a persons Knee when you lean back.

Brings back wonderful memories of MSA and standing in line with a drunk wanting to fight me. My goodness the concession lines at MSA were horrible. Had my son (probably around 4) and we had stood in line a good 15 minutes and were finally just two people back from the front. This drunk guy just strolls on up to the front thinking he was going to cut in line but nah I wasn't going to have it.

I was polite by stating " Hey buddy, we've been standing here a long time. The line actually starts back there". You would have thought I called his mom something the way he reacted. Well actually with the F-Bombs, C sucker, and I ought to kick your *** flying out of his mouth I should just got out of line. I didn't because no he wasn't going to force me to give up after waiting that long.

I did tell him however as we finally got our sodas and popcorn to be sure and stay right in this area because after taking my son back to his seat (where the wife would be) I'd be right back to continue this coversation.

I made it really quick, came back, and of course this idiot was nowhere to be found. Several people who had been waiting in line were still there and actually thanked me for saying something. He had left shortly after I had left and honestly that was probably a good thing. Who knows, he may have kicked my butt or I would have just beat the $h!+ out of him I was so mad and would have been thrown in the pokey. I was more ticked he had to be such an @ss in front of my son so while I think/understand the person writing the story had a reason to be angry I would never paint the Pacers or BLF (or in my case MSA) as this apparent battlefield.

You know how hippos are made out to be sweet and silly, like big cows, but are actually extremely dangerous and can kill you with stunning brutality? The Pacers are the NBA's hippos....Matt Moore CBS Sports....

The tooth fairy clearly felt pretty rotten there isnít more she can do to control random accidents at sporting events. She left $20, a largesse that he will hopefully remember as long as he remembers his first professional basketball game.

He should use that $20 on the Two for Tuesday deal the Pacers offer.

Wow. She better not ever try to take her kids to a Raiders game.

I went once a few years ago, last game of the season vs. the Colts. Raiders had been eliminated from the playoffs at least a month before the game so it was meaningless for Oakland. (Edit: Colts won on the last drive).

Anyway on the way out, walking to the train, I see a big 220+ lb drunk dude start really harassing (borderline threatening) a 9-or-10 year old kid with a Peyton Manning jersey on. His dad wisely got them both out of there but it was pretty bad.

Alcohol + sports fans = take a few extra precautions with your kids, no matter where you go.

In my experience the Fieldhouse might be the number one most kid-friendly venue I have ever been to, with AT&T Park for Giants games being in second.

Firefox allows you to select the cookies in a bunch and delete them that way.

BTW, poor innocent Star writer might not want to take her son to a Colts game. More morons that way.

I got a story about a bouncy castle and a lost baby tooth. They told me outdoor parties for 6 year olds are absolute drunken orgies, I should have listened.

This is ridiculous. The man could have just fallen trying to get back to his seat. (Ushering by other people in their seats doesn't always leave much room). Yet, she is blaming Pacer games? It's too bad her son got hurt... but was this story worth writing an article over? Nope.
"We've got to be very clear about this. We don't want our players hanging around with murderers," said Larry Bird, Pacers president.

It occurs to me that people screaming all the time and standing up disturbs my ability to concentrate on the game. So I think that should not be allowed, right?

I've never had any real problems at basketball or baseball games. Football games are another matter though. Those are drunkfests through and through. I've seen fights and unruly fans at about every game I've been too, and have no desire to ever attend an NFL game again. It's just an awful game experience.

Wow... the responses in this thread are pretty disappointing. I agree that this shouldn't be in the news, but if this happened to my boy, I wouldn't have been as nice to this guy as she was, drunk or not. That's my son.

If I had a dollar for every time I saw a 4-7 year old get knocked over by an adult in a mall, I'd probably have 15 or 20 bucks and it would be 17-18 more dollars than I would have from the same deal at a Pacers game.
If you got a dollar for everytime a kid got knocked over in a mall, wouldn't you just run around knocking over every kid you saw, screaming "trader joe gots to get paid!"

And it isn't beyond possibility that it was an accident. What are you going to do, take it out on a guy that fell down? It isn't like he looked for your son to fall on.

When you take your kids into places with other people, there's the possibility of accidents. The only way to prevent it is to lock them in a room. Someone being involved in that accident doesn't always make them at fault or jerks.

Even though if in her situation you admittedly did not know what happened with the gentlemen? Just know that he ended up on top of your kid?

If it were my son I wouldn't be taking him to the bathroom to rinse some water in his mouth. Put it that way I guess. Mom might, I wouldn't be.

And yes, I feel real tough now.
