Yeah thats why you start the game trying
Yep being tired and losing their starting 2 guard right before tip and probably having no practice with this starting lineup probably contributed to that

Wow, we are 22-2 when Ready gets 4+ assists.

Just 6-4 when he gets less than 4. 6-5 after tonight....

If we hadn't started games so flat for the last while, including our other losses, I'd be more concerned about the effect of not having Lance. Basically, though, this loss looks like our other ones notwithstanding the personnel.

Slow starts have been a problem all year. Even with Lance. Thats no excuse. Besides Teams deal with the loss of a starter all the time. Look at the Thunder or Cavs.

And I don't give 2 ***** about them being tired from the night before. They had energy to try in the 4th. So they had energy.

    Really bad loss
"We've got to be very clear about this. We don't want our players hanging around with murderers," said Larry Bird, Pacers president.

I better not hear one player say how every game is important one more time from the Pacers.

This whole team tends to think that comebacks are built on hero ball.

The schedule gets more difficult- winning the next four is crucial.

Cavs? They suck...and OKC who just lost to Utah last night.

Back to backs are becoming a consistent problem for us

Maybe minutes need to be limited more in the front end game.
The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!)

The Pacers are just going through their roughest stretch of the season, especially offensively. One positive is that Roy should be well rested for the games ahead, he definently was tired when he played tonight.

I think the Pacers come out and stomp the Wiz on Friday with or without Lance.

Almost only counts in...well you know. I believe the cavs have had many different starting lineups this season whereas the pacers haven't. You can't tell me losing Lance that close to tip didn't affect things

It probably did. The point is that it shouldn't. Not against the Hawks who have been hot garbage since Horford went down.

It is concerning that the Pacers are getting whipped by .500 Leastern Conference teams.

They need to be feasting on this conference.

PG really needs to work on finishing at the rim on fast breaks. Out of all the "stars" in the league, he has to be one of the worst at finishing. Half the time he misses the layup too. That whole side step move not only looks awkward, but is not very effective as well.

I guess 20-5 isn't good enough against the East, there are no undefeated seasons people...

This.. I am inclined to be concerned with our inability to play with any type of energy in the second game of b2b... I dont know what it is that bogs us down, but IMO it appears to be some mental mountain that we will need to get over...

Back to backs to me are like losing on Thursday night Football, it doesn't matter much because they only implement it during the regular season.
