Yeah it's unreasonable to have the best player of the night on the court when is needed....
No, that's not unreasonable. Expecting Lance to play 40 minutes is a bit unreasonable, though.

It's a back-to-back situation. Gotta save some good stuff for tomorrow night's game thread against the Hawks. You understand that, right?

Only people who are too lazy to watch the game use stats.

And probably the game is not as close at the end with him there but the people that don't care about numbers are worry about somebody else numbers.
I have Lance on my fantasy team so I care about his numbers a lot. Still, what you're trying to say has nothing to do with Lance himself and you know it. It's just a shame that you're using such a great player as a vehicle for your agenda.

I love how you move the goal post depending of the argument I'm not sure how you get away with it so much(who I'm kidding I know why)

Here is your post contradicting your new stance.

Frank, make sure to put Lance back in a couple of minutes. Give him a chance to get his well-earned triple-double.
    Lol so typical.

Nevermind that Frank was sending Lance in for Danny, but Danny got fouled and made 2 FTs, then there wasn't a stoppage of play for several possessions. Seems like FV wanted him in there for about 38 minutes. You still insisting it was 33, not 36? typical.

But, enough...Silly me, revising my ignore list awhile back.

Time to correct that mistake and make the game day threads tolerable once again!
The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!)

And Lance was on the scorer's table in order to get into the game 1 minute after my post. Frank gave him the opportunity to be in the game and get his triple-double. The only reason that he didn't got the triple-double was that the offense was run through PG and not Lance in those final minutes.

Elite team problems: When your fanbase quabbles internally about players not getting enough minutes to complete their triple doubles.

That argument doesn't make any sense as Lance being on the floor has been key for us winning this game.
Except that it isn't just about winning today, it is about winning today and tomorrow. We were doing fine without him on the court, and don't want him to be too tired in the fourth tomorrow to be effective.

I don't know. It's a new year. New York and Brooklyn are winning so I don't know what to expect

Its always about winning today. The game was actually pretty close towards the end, a few different bounces and it could have been very close.

I'm fine with Lance sitting, but its always about winning today.

Towards the end when it was getting closer, he was either in the game or at the scorer's table awaiting to enter the game. With the way Granger was playing, let's not act like Lance was going to be some savior. There is a drop-off from Lance to Danny, but not a great one.

If by coming around you mean that I have to like lame jokes I guess I'm not coming around then.

When Lance was substituted by PG 9 minutes on the 4th quarter, the lead was 11. When he came back for Granger, the lead was 9. With all the starters back in during that stretch with about 4 minutes left in the 4th, the lead never got higher than that, but the lead never got lower than 5 or 6.

In summary, the situation wasn't that bad during the stretch Lance was resting in the 4th. The lead was kept solid during that stretch so I guess there's not much to complain about Vogel's rotation aside from Lance not getting the trip dub.
