The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!)

33 minutes? Nah he is used to play more than that.

He's right at his average. As much fun as vanity stats are, let's look at the big picture here: Who gives a **** about triple doubles?

He's gonna play 36 minutes tonight. We have a game tomorrow. Danny was playing well. The foul trouble caused an odd rotation with PG. Vogel is there to win games, not force Lance a bunch of minutes to get a triple double which means nothing at the end of the day

Such a silly thing to take issue with. Lance not getting 40 minutes to go for a triple double

That argument doesn't make any sense as Lance being on the floor has been key for us winning this game.

I do as well and I'm pining for them when the game is played but I'm not going to blame Frank for that.
Tonight, all flags must burn, in place of steeples.
Autonomy must return into the hands of the people.

the box score said 35 with a minute to go, and now of course says 36, but a lack of facts never slows you down!

Yeah it's unreasonable to have the best player of the night on the court when is needed....

Except Danny was doing fine and Stephenson needed the break. If you can afford to rest him, then you do it. 36 minutes is plenty.

And probably the game is not as close at the end with him there but the people that don't care about numbers are worry about somebody else numbers.

I think it's a combination of things that led to him saying that. You know you are...critical.

I think your best course of action is to write a strongly worded letter to Frank Vogel. If you don't want to send it USPS, I'll hand-deliver it to him in New Orleans where he'll be coaching the NBA ALL-STAR GAME next month.

He ended up playing 36 minutes. So no he didn't. We have a game tomorrow. Lance getting a triple double tonight with playing 40 minutes and then being tired tomorrow doesn't help us win.
