Seriously, they are predicting 2-4 inches tonight and 2-4 inches on Sunday.

Even my dogs are getting sick of the snow especially our boy. He runs out, does his business, and then runs back into the house.

I actually like it. Better for skiing when we go down to Lawrenceburg.

I usually don't mind the winter too much, and I like a little snow every now and then. But this winter has just been too much. I'm tired of the insane negative wind chills. I'm tired of constant snow and slick roads. I'm tired of my car looking like complete filth all of the time. I washed it on Monday when it was warm, but that was a futile exercise because it snowed the next day.

    I'm ready for Spring.

Lol. I've always been a winter guy, for some reason. Probably because I fry during the summer. Plus it gives me reason not to shave.

The only thing I like about winter is the sports. Playoff football and basketball. Outside of that, no thanks.

Ice & Snow in Houston. WTF ??

    http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/24/us/win...html?hpt=hp_t2

Houston, you have a problem. It's called ice, and some of you may even be seeing something called snow.
It's OK; it's actually pretty normal in most parts of the country.
But we understand if you're freaking out a little bit, like this Twitter user, who jokingly posted: "Ice on my windshield. Anything I can do or should I just bust it out with a hammer?"
Winter weather is pretty rare in Houston, a place more accustomed to prepping for a hurricane than weird Northern rituals like tossing salt on the ground.
The city's had measurable snow only three times since 1968; the last time in 1994, according to CNN's weather unit.

Houston has had ice before(or maybe I'm thinking Dallas the SB from 3 years ago) but snow that's a first.

Yeah, this winter has just been unbelievable. If Houston is getting snow, then you know we're all sunk.

I am not sure what I hate worse. This weather or 100 degree weather. I probably can deal with the temps better really cold. But you add in the snow, salt, wet, dirty, having to wear coats, hats, gloves, shovel snow, drive add all that in and I don't know. I hate hot weather though, makes me feel sick when it get close to 90

Give me the extreme heat any day over this stuff. Extreme heat doesn't cause hazardous driving conditions and car accidents. Extreme heat doesn't make your car look like complete crap like it does when you drive over dirty slushy roads that have been salted. Extreme heat doesn't cause your entire body to go numb.

It was excessive when we had all of those days in the 100's a couple of years ago, but a 90 degree day doesn't bother me at all.

Heat doesn't bother me. First I enjoy hot weather way more than cold weather. And as you said, the cold weather tends to be a package deal. As long as you have your AC working the heat can be managed I feel.

And in case you were worried that more snow this weekend wasn't enough, the temp is going to plummet again on Monday and Tuesday. Oh joy

I use to be a winter guy who always said rather be cold than hot, but this winter has changed me. Give me hot weather right now.

The wife and I have already planned our vacation so we can get away and actually feel some warmth.

Yeah, its pretty bad too. Approaching 50 days without rain. But i will take it over winter any time. It will rain soon. I am perfectly fine never living through an East Coast winter again

I really, really hate this weather, and we're not getting it nearly as bad as Indiana. I wish I lived on the West Coast, this sucks.

How is that possible? You guys usually get a foot of snow in DC or so I hear.

Or maybe I'm thinking of NY/NJ

This weather is really making me question my move (not really, but damn I hate the cold).

Yeah we're supposed to be in the -10's during early parts of the evening this coming week.

Yay! And more snow tomorrow night well, technically tonight, because it's Sunday morning right now.

I usually don't mind winter, but maybe that's because of the last two winters we have had, which have been mild.

I cannot stand ice. I can't stand snow, and I hate it if it's slick as well. I can't walk on ice. So I just walk extremely slow and worry about falling and busting my ***.

Going to the store when the parking lot is covered in ice is basically hell for me, and I try to avoid it, even though I really need to go get stuff.

Winter ruins your plans, too. "Oh you want to go out?" "Yeah, but I don't think we need to be driving in this weather, it's too dangerous." Or you just get snowed in and you don't even have the chance to leave your house in the first place.

Yeah, that's the thing. Even when it's extremely hot, people are still out and about. It stays light late and people go out in the evening.

But this extreme cold just makes civilization come to a halt. No one wants to do anything except stay home.
