If Peyton was a colt right now our team would be terrible.

I don't know about terrible. Hell, I think Peyton could make a 2-14 team a 8-8 team. He is just that good of a player.

I will agree, however, the Colts are better in the long term with Luck

Peyton is 2-1 vs. Brady in Conference Championship games.

If 18 wins the SB, this has to be the greatest single season by a QB...and maybe a player EVER.

Weird to realize that the Colts were 3-0 this year against Denver, Seattle, and San Francisco. We're really close, guys. If we had stayed healthy the Super Bowl may not have been out of the question.

Btw, Peyton's next TD will be his 60th of the season.

If he wins the Super Bowl, then it's pretty much unarguable that it's the greatest QB season ever. The recovery from a major injury makes it all the more impressive.

I hate that I am THAT guy that keeps brining up how much of a sissy league the NFL has become.

But seriously. That U.R. penalty of Carlos Rogers to end of the first half. Are we for real?!?! Lets just switch to 2 hand touch

I think if we had played Denver we'd be going to the SB we matchup better against these teams but not the Pats(at least in Foxboro)

For once HFA mattered at least in the AFC

Congrats Peyton for two weeks you won't hear that your career was worthless unless you lose the SB then all this was for "nothing"

Also Champ Bailey his first SB appearance ever and he's been in the league almost as long as Peyton.

At this rate I think we're going to see the battle of the former Colts QBs for the SB: Manning vs Harbaugh.

Sick of Peyton fans, but I'm always happy to see the Pats lose.

Rooting for Peyton doesn't make people less of a Colts fan(unless they only cared about Peyton then yeah I agree) its not like he was playing us today he was playing "them" even if Manning wasn't on the Broncos I'd still be glad the Broncos won today because it means the Pats didn't win.

And I think we can all agree on this though: Pats fans wish they could go back in time and neuter Archie Manning.

I don't think we would have won in Denver. That's a hostile environment and they just have more talent than us since we are so depleted. Same case as with NE. It was just Denver's year.

Maybe but the Colts have historically owned Denver I kind of feel its a fair trade off since they get QBs we drafted (Elway, Manning)

But since I forgot to mention this earlier DIE PATS DIE!!!!! YAAAAY!

And the Pats owned the Colts for a while...... Until they didn't anymore. History is only so important and is always subject to change. I just don't think we could have won in Denver to go 2-0 against them on the season. That would have been tough to do with a depleted roster. NE was able to beat Denver in NE, but then they suffered some more injuries and were overmatched on the road today. Colts would have suffered the same fate, IMO.
