Who said it had anything to do with the way they played yesterday. Resting their starters allowed the team they rested against go farther than them in the playoffs. No connection to our game at all.

Yeah but lets be quite honest with ourselves, Manning wasn't exactly CONSISTENT in his playoff career. Some years he would have a great postseason, while others he choked hard. I don't think I have ever seen Luck choke.
He's only on year 2 of his career and just won his first playoff game I wouldn't be quick to crown him just yet.

I mean we did lose to the Chargers earlier this season with Luck not even scoring a TD can't blame Manning for that.

We are have a fate of how things will end for us but karma is subjective. When someone/or a team they don't like faces something bad well that's their karma as if its their punishment. I don't necessarily believe its punishment but people act as if it is.
So your arguement is that belief in Karma is "subjective" but belief in destiny is not? I play the lotto every week. I believe it's my DESTINY to win it. But when I lose my wife says it's Karma.

We are all destined to die but I don't think its necessarily karma when we do either.

Perfect so far with my wild card picks. Should've hit up Vegas.

Niners just own the Packers. 4 straight victories against them over the last 2 seasons. 2 in the regular season and 2 in the playoffs.

Oh and I would be very scared if I were a Bengals fan, because they "have" to give Dalton the benefit of the doubt for a while still. I don't think the guy is a winning QB when it counts. Call it Romoitis, but he's never going to win a Super Bowl as a starting QB, or even get close to one.

All I know is if Andrew Luck had AJ Green that would be pretty ****ing unstoppable.

The Colts were the only home wildcard team to get a win.

3 of the 4 games were great entertainment. Bengals-Chargers was a dud because of the sheer awfulness of the Bengals in the second half.

The 3 AFC teams left aside from Denver are the 3 teams that beat Denver in the regular season.

Divisional games are always fantastic. All four of these games have great potential.

I guess 49ers/Panthers may have some intrigue seeing how Cam comes out for a playoff game, but I expect the 9ers to come in and beat them quite easily.

Already seeing that Denver has 10 points on the Chargers in Vegas, I would bet the under on that as much as I could.

    Sorry for that man.

Was rooting for the Packers cause I don't like the 49ers that much and I really love Rodgers' game but I think SF was the better team yesterday.

A #1 seed going one and done, on their home field, with the greatest offense in NFL history, led by an all-time great QB, with the most talent he has ever played with in his long career?

Absolutely it would be a team choke of epic proportions, whether anticipated or not, though it would depend a bit on the circumstances of the loss as to whether any particular individual choked or not.
The poster "pacertom" since this forum began (and before!). I changed my name here to "Slick Pinkham" in honor of the imaginary player That Bobby "Slick" Leonard picked late in the 1971 ABA draft (true story!)

I hope you felt that way when the Pats lost to the Jets as the #1 seed a few years ago or when they lost both SBs to the Giants they were heavily favored in especially the first one where they were undefeated.

    Somehow I doubt it.

Even though the regular season records are worthless come postseason. The Packers, Bengals, and Eagles won their divisions and now they are out of the postseason, the Bengals who were undefeated at home were the most disappointing. At least nobody thought the Packers who lost Rodgers for part of the season and the Eagles who had a new coach and QB weren't expected for much. Nothing they did in the regular season matters now. In the postseason everyone is fair game.
