    Default Playoffs: WC vs Chiefs

Well it's the postseason and we get a home game. We'll see Kansas City again for the second time in 3 weeks and the last time we played them in the playoffs, we won the super bowl. It will be a low scoring game with both quarterbacks needing to make big plays. Andrew will be big time in the clutch moments of this game.

They're not good. Their best win of the year is against Dallas, and they won by 1. They won't win a playoff game. All I know is this year reminds me of 2006 a lot, and we're opening against the Chiefs again.

It reminds me more of 2003 than it does of 2006.

We had a bad run defense but we had most of our core guys that year. Most of our players got injured this year namely Reggie

Am not saying we can't win but I expect a grinder and a really close game.

I certainly don't expect Reid to make the same mistake in 2 weeks and shy away from calling running plays for Charles. For some reason they did that in Week 16 after their successful opening drive.

The Colts have shown over & over they can win big games against good teams this year. Of course they have also shown they can put up unexpected stinkers as well.

I think Saturday will end with Luck carrying the Colts to a nail biter win but there is an almost equal chance the Chiefs blow them out. If the Colts can find a way to win this game IMO they will be a very dangerous team. Survive and advance.

Vinny kicks a 48 yarder as time expires to win it. The crowd goes wild.

This is actually my 100% wildest wet dream scenario for going into New England and winning a playoff game. Except change the end to "The crowd goes silent."

Well you have to hope it isn't Luck's last game as a Colt

Where did the Jets get the ball before they made the winning FG?

Cromartie had a KR for quite a lot of yards I forgot where it was but then Caldwell called a timeout and well you get the rest.

Saw this link posted on another site. Looks like the Colts had a players only "come to Jesus" meeting before the latest win streak. I always liked Mathis, Wayne etc. but have come to appreciate them in a different way over the last couple of years. Easy to understand now why they were the guys the organization chose to keep around for the rebuild.

Also looks like Davis is pretty iffy for Sunday. Couple that with Toler still being slow to recover and I'm a little concerned for Saturday. This defense is so much better when those two guys are on the field and able to press the other teams receivers.

Those 2 are the best cogs of our secondary. Without them, we're toast.

That Colts team had no business being in the playoffs lol, but that was one of THE worse playoff losses ever. Will NEVER forgive Caldwell for that all-time dumb blunder

It also robbed Vinny of having an extra game winning kick on his resume'. He DRILLED a 50 yard FG to put the Colts ahead.

Definitely one of the most irritating losses of the Manning era. That team had that hideous stretch where they lost 3 three straight and 4 out of 5, and they were hit by injuries. That was the stretch in which Manning was throwing interception after interception. I think it's obviously fair to assume that the injury was really bothering him at that point. But the team did win 4 straight to end the season and came into the playoffs hot. We should have won that that damn Jets game.

No team has been able to sell tickets to their playoff games yet. The Packers aren't even sold out. The NFL is overpriced and has ridiculous ticket sales rules.

I'm usually one to call Indy fairweathered when it comes to sports but I really think its about the $$$ here (and some are Pacers ticketholders so they probably planned to go to that game anyways)

They're only been on sale for a day and a half, right? They will all be long gone by the time the game kicks off.

These Chiefs are drastically overrated by all the Mediots. We will punch them in the mouth again, this time at home.
