    Default Week 16: @Chiefs

Just read a report from the Colts beat writers that Linkeback, Thornton and Reitz are all definitely out for tomorrow's game. A center from the PS has been promoted and they cut Draughn the RB they signed last week

I think we stood very little chance of winning the game anyway but this is really not good with so many OL men out.

Oh well I will be off tomorrow for some days for the Christmas period and I won't be able to see the game but I really hope we can somehow come out with a win from this game.

Yeeah that line is going to get abused again with Satele back at center. Luck is going to get abused
Don't ask Marvin Harrison what he did during the bye week. "Batman never told where the Bat Cave is," he explained.

This game will be a great indicator of where the team is.

Was the end of the Cincy game and last week's game against Houston signs that things are improving? Or were they simply garbage points at the end of a blowout and a win at home against a pathetic team with a QB who shouldn't be in the NFL? I think that tomorrow will go a long way in answering that. Since Wayne got hurt in the Denver game, the pattern has been consistent for this team: Beat the miserable AFC South opponents while losing badly to everyone else.

In the beginning of the season, we were obviously beating some great teams, but that seems like a lifetime ago right now. Over the last couple of months, we haven't belonged on the field against any of the good teams we've played. It's absolutely amazing how the Wayne injury completely zapped this team of its swagger.

    Default Week 16: @Chiefs

Hope Satele's potential participation is only due to necessity and not by design. Meaning I don't want to see his sorry *** past this weekend if Reitz and Thornton or even Linkeback are good to go.

Even that sounds obvious with the current coaching staff you just never know.

    Go Colts!

I heard that our great OC Pep say that the reason they went no huddle and with an empty backfield last week was because we didn't have a FB.

Can't wait til we have that two TE "power formation" to start the game tomorrow. Running behind that line is always a win.

    I'm so sick of Pep.

Pep's play calling and our lack of depth will probably cost us the game. The injuries are new, but Pep finding ways for us to lose is a weekly thing I've grown tired of.

Not a fan of Linkenbach or Thornton anyway, both of them have been abused, along with Satele, all year. They do seem to operate better with McGlynn at C, but they'll probly move him to guard and stick Satele back at center.

I dunno. I think we just need to watch and see what happens. New peeps. Might be surprised. Two of the three guys who are out have been turnstiles this year. Losing Reitz, hell I can't even remember what he's done this year.
There are two types of quarterbacks in the league: Those whom over time, the league figures out ... and those who figure out the league.

Link has barely played and isn't great but he's still miles better than Satele/McGlynn. You can't remember what Reitz has done because he hasn't played. The one game he started was at LG against Cincy, and not coincidently we blocked better. Same with Link. Sadly this coaching staff has been unwilling to make major line changes, and sadly the moment we might turn it around our guards are all hurt. These injuries are killing us because our coaching staff are morons

I think Thornton has played like a rookie. Some good, some bad. Linkenbach is awful and needs to be gone. I am actually looking forward to seeing Nixon play. I could see him being a nice backup lineman for a long time to come.

I wonder what we would do if, theoretically, 3 linemen got hurt in this game. Sadly, it wouldn't be surprising with this team and its luck.

Reitz also played well at the start of the Houston game until he was injured.

All I am saying is a Thornton-McGlynn-Reitz combination is the best one we can have right now.

I was just thinking about how cool it would be to see Luck throw for 4k and run for 500 yards. He has 369 i believe. I have a feeling he'll be doing some running in this game. Wouldnt be suprised to see him end up with 60 yards at least. I dont think he'll have any time to throw today. This could be brutal.

Looks like we're back to business after last week's first half aberration.

I'm getting really fed up with Chuck and Pep. Most predictable team ever.

I actually can't complain too much about the playcalling so far. We're playing no huddle and fast. Like it

If the Colts can hang around, they will have a chance but damn it feels it come become a blowout quickly...
