reading too much into it maybe, but him at least trying to go up and get it has to be a good thing

    Thats a pre-game headline.

The other headline was "Pacers crush Rockets to snap 2-game slide"

Stop being so defensive. We got a ton of media coverage, stop playing the victim like were the little, no one cares about our success, Pacers.
Some people can't stop playing the victim, we are the wolf now.

Also, the Pacers held the Rockets to 20 or less in 3 of the 4 quarters, 16 in the 4th. And I still can't believe Dwight justified leaving the Lakers because he wanted to play for a "contender". The only thing that team is gonna contend for is the right to get smacked around by the Spurs in the 1st round.

DG first game coupled with this huge win against the Rockets totally remove the bitterness of the other night debacle.

Not like the Lakers were a better option...
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

The have some talent to build around, if they can keep it together. They just need a couple good pieces and they will be competing.

Warriors were the best option in hindsight. Imagine that team with Howard.

I love a good old fashion butt whooping. Houston is just flat out a horrible defense team. Harden is not in PG's class, wasn't head to head last season either.

    Since he's been in Houston he's a combined 14 for 57 (24%) for 17ppg against us

I don't see a trade that can fix Houston's holes, the other thing is that their front office are statistics people so who knows wtf they are thinking?

I kind of like to see another statistics team fail though

It's hard to believe that team was 17-9. We are simply a very poor match up for them. Howard cannot dominate with our size and PG can shut down Harden.

Howard dominated about as much as he could, him and Parsons had pretty good games. That game has to be scary for Houston fans. If Harden is contained and they don't get/make 3's, they are an awful team.

    Great win!

Granger played how I expected him too will be interesting to see how he fits into the offense again.

I thought the same thing. We were all laughing because Danny couldn't climb the ladder to get that ball, but it was hard for me to tell if the ball was thrown in a way to make it catchable by anybody at all. Seemed like it was thrown high.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

Just got home about 20 minutes ago from work and I'm watching the replay. Danny just checked in and blocked Dwight's shot. I'm not some big Danny homer, but it is really nice to see him on the court again. I have a lot of respect for him and obviously he could be a huge boost to this team, which is already incredible.

    Love this.

I really don't either. There asking price for Asik is insane. If they get a young pf they'll be lucky but no team is going to give up 2 picks and a decent pf.

Lance, especially, needs to be careful with this. You have to limit the amount of risky passes you throw in Danny's direction. It's an easy way to hurt a knee for a healthy player, and Danny shouldn't be put in that situation.

Needless to say, Danny should be smart enough to let the ball sail out of bounds.

So So happy to see Danny on the court tonight. Great win too. Although I wish Lin had played, just because I'm a fan.
