Not sure how Danny only got credited with 2 assists. He was really passing well out there.
CJ pump faked after DG's extra pass because he saw a defender incoming, took a step and then pulled up for a mid-range shot. Therefore, that extra pass wasn't counted as an assist.

DG made a pass to Ian Mahinmi that had good, deep post position but Ian passed it to Scola who pump faked and drove for the lay-up.

DG made several very nice passes (granted, he also had some bad ones) but not all of them were counted as assists. Still, he helped the second unit's ball movement a lot.

It doesn't look like he is lifting like he used to, he is taking Manu Ginobili like shots.
Lift wise, I guess I am not surprised...it's more his follow through seems different. Like he's trying to "goose neck" the shot at the end of his shooting release. I don't know...it just seems different.

If nothing else - this was a good game for Danny to start with. Blowout, no pressure, decent minutes ...........

Hopefully he's got the jitters out and can start hitting a shot.

I'm pretty sure he is adjusting his shot, even Kobe talks about this when players get older or have injuries.

To be fair....Granger did seem to have a lot of rust to shake off when it comes to his shooting.

Does his shooting form seem off or different?

He had a lot of turnovers...but he seemed to be passing the ball alot more than I thought he would.
His arc was quite low on a mid-range jumper that he attempted.

He certainly has a lot of rust to shake off. That's obvious. But I was encouraged by the way he played tonight. I was encouraged by his passing. He seems to know what he needs to do in order to fit in with the team. That was a very nice sign.

Miami may have inadvertantly awoken the sleeping giant. The Pacers were out to prove a point tonight.

Yep. This is, to me, the only question. If he's healthy, he's going to be a great boost to the bench. A great fit for this team.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

The funny thing about this exchange I believe is that it occurred right after the Dwight tip, where Howard excessively tipped the ball out of bounds because I believe Lance was talking smack and Dwight was trying to prove a point. I think that look was Lance mocking Dwight after the fact.

The point being, when this team focuses they are the best team in the league.

Lance has absolutely zero fear no matter what team we're facing or whatever player he's currently pissing off. I wish they would mic him up for a game but I'd imagine 99% would have to be heavily edited or bleeped out.

I thought Lance was going to kill Danny's knee on that play lol.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

    Thats a pre-game headline.

The other headline was "Pacers crush Rockets to snap 2-game slide"

Stop being so defensive. We got a ton of media coverage, stop playing the victim like were the little, no one cares about our success, Pacers.
