No just blaming him for his actual mistakes. Pretty clear George was out of position on that pass.

And if we want to talk about mistakes, lets talk about Georges defense in the first half.
ugg. The backdoor cut/dunk by DWade while PG was standing near the corner with his hands at his sides was painful. ugg.

Wade played like he had used the "cream" pre-game.

What is it with Vogel and making stupid mistakes involving Hibbert when it comes to Heat games?

Seriously.....how on Earth was Hibbert going to avoid getting a 5th foul for 1.5 QTRs against the Miami Flop? Both the 3rd and 4th Fouls were legit on Hibbert....but Vogel shouldn't have put him in the situation to get that 5th foul in the 3rd QTR.

This is David West, he is the Honey Badger, West just doesn't give a *****....he's pretty bad *ss cuz he has no regard for any other Player or Team whatsoever.

If you want to talk about defense lets talk about how Hill can't keep anyone in front of him. Chalmers has abused him the last dozen games.
How exactly does that make George not out of position for that pass?

LeBron even said it himself. "We had a great officiating crew". That was disgusting to watch.
I didn't even think of that......he thanked the Refs for bailing him out at the end that could have cost the Heat a game.

George Hill described in detail the play in which his pass missed Paul George on the baseline & took all the blame for that play.

    Hill is right.

Listen. This is coming from a Magic fan that watches all teams in the NBA all the time. Its as simple as this. You guys were simply cheated out of that game. I've watched 13 years of basketball and I all I can say is Wade should have fouled out. LeBron should have had three more fouls than he actually did. The last 15 possessions of the game was intentional officiating to get the Pacers to lose the game and keep the momentum going for the Heat. Not to mention the last play of the game. The NBA did not want the Pacers to win that game.

LeBron even said it himself. "We had a great officiating crew". That was disgusting to watch.
Thanks for posting your opinions, always great to have another teams perspective on PD. However, I respectfully disagree. Although a couple calls that could have gone either way down the stretch benefited the Heat, there were a couple that benefited the Pacers as well. The foul on Bosh where West hit 2 FTs to cut it to one comes to mind as one notable example.

I am only going with you as far as DWade backing down/over Lance. The rest was just the usual mishmash of a Joey "performance". Once he takes the stage, it's hard to tell who really gets screwed.

You're the one who brought up defense not me and Hill made a bad pass that wasn't PG's fault.

Is she saying Hill took the blame or PG??

The only positive things I can come up with after this two loses is that this hopefully can make the team focus again, sometimes winning too much makes a team too confident.

This is also good for fans, some people were acting like this team was perfect and any suggestion about changing a piece or two was pretty much a sin, I hope Larry see our weakness and gets it fix.

Yes it was. George was out of position for the play. Hence it was his fault.

Hill took the blame I think. Right thing to do, but not necessarily true.

It seems pretty straight forward....GH took the blame for the bad pass.

I strongly disagree. The Pass was off target as Paul cut to the rim. Hill even acknowledged it was his fault.

No no I just re watched in slow motion. If Paul would have run the play as he was supposed to, the pass gets to him. Hill is throwing the ball to a spot. Sort of like a quarterback. Re watching it, I really think PG made the mistake

Exactly, Hill was just being a good teammate when he took the blame. 20 bucks George will take the blame if they ask him.

Stop acting like Lebron wouldn't have gotten the steal if PG just stood in the corner. You're such a Hill fan that if PG did stay in the corner and Hill threw it to Lebron you'd say PG should have cut to the basket.

I thought so, but it was worded as such where I could have seen where she ment PG... I agree that it is what Hill should have done... Just had a moment of unfounded worry...

I appreciate hill keeping the peace and taking the blame. But it was not his fault

Are you seriously kidding me with this. Rewatch the play man. He wasn't where he was supposed to be. And if Lebron would have gotten the steal regardless thats not Hills fault either. Thats on Vogel.
