Don't know how the Cavs vs Wizards was ever a matchup for ESPN anyway, but smart decision. Absolutely floored though that they wouldn't show Kobe-less Lakers vs Rockets for Suns vs Wolves....THERE'S A CONSPIRACY AT HAND!
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

Just because you're offended, doesn't mean you're right. ― Ricky Gervais.

What if someone from a school of business or management school were to ask, How did you do this? How did you get the Pacers turned around? Is there a general approach you've taken that can be summarized?

    Larry Bird: Yeah, patience.

I certainly expected the Pacers/Blazers game to be nationally televised after the last game between the two teams. It's just kinda unfair for the Wizards to have their lone national game eliminated.

Agreed. I see a lot of us 4 years ago in the Wizards and could see me getting upset back then if this happened, which I believe it did.

On paper going into the season, the Cavs and Wizards should have been a good national TV broadcast (Irving vs Wall), nobody really expected the Blazers to be this good, nor the Pacers to be REALLY this good going in.

They have also been added to the game against the Phoenix Suns on Jan. 22nd.

After the Pacers were demoted from ESPN's national broadcast schedule at various times in the past couple of years, the four-letter kingmakers are now adding the Pacers for two more national broadcasts against Western Conference opponents. As Scott Agness reports, ESPN will now show the Pacers visit to Phoenix on Jan. 22 at 10:30 p.m. ET.
I doubt that the Pacers will get any ABC games this year. The only one that might have a chance is the game against Cleveland on March 30th @ 3 pm but only if the Cavs are in the playoff hunt.

Larry is not coming back, he didn't have a meeting with Orlando for not reason, yeah he is coming back to the NBA but not to the Pacers, the notion that he is a taking a year off and then come back is absurd.

ABC's not showing the NBA on March 30th (NCAA tournament). I think the Oklahoma City - Indiana game on April 13th could be flexed over Bulls - Knicks. Could be a finals preview, and Oklahoma City is a team that has some national cache.

There's a bunch of games on ABC that looked good in the beginning of the year that don't look so good now. I could see some of them getting flexed out if there's an attractive matchup on the schedule.

They also added Pacers/Suns game that I planned on going to, only a little bit questionable now, because locally the game starts 90 minutes later than it was planned to, to fit the ESPN schedule. 8:30 pm our time is rather late, but I still plan on going unless my ride can't do schedule.
