I don't expect a win in Miami but I don't want this team to lose 2 games in a row. After the Detroit loss we pretty much have to win this one.

    So, please win.

Yea I agree. I'm less concerned that it's "Miami" and more concerned about seeing a good healthy bounce-back after a loss.
There are two types of quarterbacks in the league: Those whom over time, the league figures out ... and those who figure out the league.

I want to win this game badly, but we're going to have a 2 game losing streak at some point. We aren't the 1996 Bulls.

Expecting the Pacers to come out laser focused and win this by double digits...we are the best team in the league at adjustments and bouncing back after a disappointing loss.

We come out and make a statement on national tv and put worry and doubt in the heads of the heat players and fans (though most heat "fans" won't even acknowledge our win and attribute it to the heat "coasting")

    GO PACERS!!!

I know that LeDecision and Wade say that "it's just another game" and that they don't care about it as much....but IMHO....I would not be surprised if they take this game personally and approach this game as a "Destroy the Pacers" in front of the Home Court to show their Fans ( and National Media ) whose the Top Dog.

Pretty much feel, 72 games a year, I want the Pacers to win but don't get too up or down if they do.

This is 1 of the 10 where I want them to drink the other team's milkshake.

If LeFlop doesn't play I expect we blow them the hell out. There should no reason why we shouldn't .

I would not expect that at all. The rest of that team aren't scrubs, and teams tend to really step up in big games at home with a major player out temporarily. I'd be unhappy if we didn't win, but a blowout is a bit much.

They complained about Roy not getting called for fouls last game, so tonight Roy will get in foul trouble in the first quarter. Thats how it goes

PG would be virtually unguardable. I don't want to even imagine the ridicule we'd get to losing back to back and to a LeBumless Heat

If he's capable of playing...there is no way that LeDecision won't play tonight. Unfortunately, he's so good that even a 75% LeDecision is still capable of contributing at a high enough level to win. As I said in my earlier post....they may play this off as another game...but this is IMHO a "Statement" game for the Heat to show that they are stil the best Team in the East.

LeBron is playing, according to ESPN.
"It's just unfortunate that we've been penalized so much this year and nothing has happened to the Pistons, the Palace or the city of Detroit," he said. "It's almost like it's always our fault. The league knows it. They should be ashamed of themselves to let the security be as lax as it is around here."

The real question is, why is Paul only using TWO honey mustard packets!? Those things are tiny. You need half dozen minimum!

    Step it up PG.

Btw I always had the impression that athletes have their meals around 2.5-3 hours before the game. Apparently PG is that good, he doesn't care. Hats off, sir.

I'm just gonna say it once:

PG, please get with Roy's chef.

    That is all.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!
