Once we were 4 minutes into the 3rd. I thought this would be a close ugly win. I just didn't see any fire in PG on either side of the ball and that's what often sits us apart in the second half. At the end of the season all we'll remember is the W. I really hope Danny plays Monday.

Knee has to go through the pant leg. Put it on your knee, pull your "tights" up, and if it gets on the inside of your tights it will travel all the way up.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

@TheSandman21 his right middle finger was bleeding tonight and they put a bandaid on it. That’s what you saw.

Probably best to consult a groin expert for that Q.

    And another tidbit:

    Scott Agness ‏@ScottAgness 2h

Winning does wonders. Pacers record their sixth sellout (18,165) of the season tonight vs. Charlotte.

I know Zeller and all, but the Pacers SOLD OUT against the CHARLOTTE BOBCATS. Who would have thought that even a year ago?

Did it on December 13th this year. Took until January 5th last year. Remember how awful we looked the first few weeks last year?

Extremely impressed with the Bobcats. Really well coached, they play the right way. Tough to play them
Before the game Vogel was talking up Steve Clifford and I was like "ehhh OK Frank, when's the last time you ever said a negative word about anyone?" Then I realized he has a top 5 defense and his starting bigs are McBob and Al Jefferson. Dude's doing something right.

We are one of the best teams now and will always get everyone's best game. Remember, this same Bobcat team gave the heat all they could handle as well.

Thank you. Guys this bobcats team is a very good defensive unit. They are like we have been the last couple years. If you play good defense you are almost always going to be in games. How did they stay in it, a good run in the third where they hit 7 straight shots and I think we hit 1. There defense slowed us down, let their offense go on a run and give them a chance.

They just need a very solid Starting go-to scorer on the Wing and they'd be solid. Kemba is trying to be that guy...but he's not an efficient scorer on the perimeter.

It looks like they have pretty good mid-range scoring. I think one thing they lack is a decent perimeter shooter/scorer. Obviously, Sessions looked the part tonight, but I don't think that is his norm by any means.

Bobcats are probably a player or two away from being a very good team.

The Bobcats have a lot of Capspace next season....they can easily go after a near-elite Starting scoring SG in the offseason...whether it be via a trade or Free agency.

Yep, perimeter shooting is their biggest need. They have players that can create shots but they lack shooters. They are dead last in 3p% this season. They are only shooting 29.2%. Their best 3pt shooter is Anthony Tolliver who is shooting 37.8% from 3 in 37 attempts and their second best is Josh McRoberts who is shooting 33.8% from 3 in 74 attempts. Yes, their shooting situation is that bad. Ramon Sessions was shooting 18.5% from 3 before this game (in just 27 attempts).

If they find some shooters and maybe an extra post player or shot creator then they could make some noise.

I know a certain 3pt shooter that could be had for a mere $3mil a year

Sessions gave the Bobnets some great minutes. Between him, Kemba, and Gordon, they were getting into the lane with great ease. One of the reasons they were able to get to 50+ at the half and draw fouls on Roy and Ian was the constant penetration. Every one of our wings had trouble containing the perimeter until later in the game. Nice shooting from 'Sual, though he was quite slow, both on man and on rotation. I hope he can get a little better wind over the next few games so that he can put in some rebounding work. His height is something he has over OJ, who is still the better defender at this point. Probably PG's worst game of the year, but you'll take it in a tough win, I suppose.

Lance made an incredible play, it was incredible.

Sessions isn't a perimeter shooter by any means....as someone said before in the thread...he shot WELL ABOVE his 3pt shooting percentage this game. But what he is VERY GOOD at doing is driving to the hoop, penetrating and getting to the FT line. He's "Bad Porn" of undersized Combo-Guards. He's not a good 3pt shooter.....but he's good at penetrating and getting to the line.

Sessions is elite at getting to the line. Do you know how many FT attempts he averages per 36? 9! Only 3 players average more than that. Kevin Durant, James Harden and Dwight Howard. He is indeed excellent at the things that you mention.
