Indiana Pacers forward Danny Granger said heís ďliterally day-to-dayĒ with his return from an injured left calf, but Friday wonít be the day, he said after practicing at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
ďI donít like where Iím at with my timing and my rhythm and obviously my conditioning,Ē he said. ďI donít think I will (play) Friday.
ďI practiced today, a full-on practice, but I donít feel like Iím ready yet. I dribbled the ball off my foot a couple of times, just things when you havenít played. (I) lost the ball in transition on a pass. My rhythm isnít there yet.Ē
Granger said heís had no physical setback.
ďNo, no, no,Ē he said. ďJust all game legs. Iím not going to go on the court until Iím ready.Ē
Granger hasnít played since the fifth preseason game Oct. 18. He missed all but five games last year with an injured left knee.
Granger was an NBA All-Star in 2009. The Pacers (19-3) will play Charlotte on Friday.
