Before the road trip everybody said he would be happy with a 4-2 if that included a win against Miami, here we are !

They looked demoralized.... and didn't shake hands.

I really hope they rest Wade for the next 3 or 4 games after this and they lose a couple and the in house bickering starts, that would be glorious we'll have to beat them at home and just let the fact that we're 2 - 0 against them simmer for a while.

That was a championship caliber performance in the second half.

It started the last 90 sec. of first half.
OH MY GOD!! If our guys actually learn how to pass vs pressure, it won't be a game. Hill and George were not ready to play. Pacers were totally surprised by double teams and tried to DRIBBLE against it for some unknown reason. Big Roy and DWest kept us in the game until everyone else woke up. That's what great teams do though. Someone picks up the slack. One or two guys don't have to do it every minute of every game.

If the Pacers offense ever learned to move without the ball in order to improve spacing or open a passing lane, that would help immensely.

We seem to get very bogged down, even when a defender leaves to double or trap we don't take advantage and try to improve the angles. We just stay in place hoping the play will get back on track.

I think they were trying to exploit match-ups instead of ball movement and player movement. That didn't work did it? And our passing??!! OMG, we just throw it and hope. I don't know if that is not respecting the defense, lack of concentration or just a lack of actual passing ability.

Yeah. I don't understand how you can exploit match-ups when you let the negative mismatch dictate the next step in the play (i.e. you get a guy free on a double or a mismatch on the switch but the guy doubled/trapped/fighting a mismatch of his own is left to hang out there). Sometimes you have to help facilitate the passer.

Agreed, we are terrible at giving passers good passing angles. Even in out of bounds plays, especially on the baseline, we always seem to have trouble getting the ball in cause we have terrible spacing and all we don't do anything but run to a point then not move around much. I'm surprised we haven't been called for 5 seconds yet on those.

Please forgive me Roy, I really wondered if it wasn't better to let you go to Portland...

We kind of sucked. 21 turnovers? This team can be so much better. So careless.

Oh, yeah, good win and all. Third time this season that the entire team has been exasperated with frustration at the officials. We're 3-0 in these games.

Bwahahaha.... I love it. Great win.

Only thing that could have made it better is if somebody karate-chopped LeBron in the neck. But I kinda wonder if somebody did and it didn't get picked up on TV. The dude just wilted after that hit on Roy.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

Not a bad middle linebacker impression by D West at half court either.
