That would have been such a fitting way for the half to end if Bosh had banked that in.

Heat always manage to exploit our lack of great ball handling. However, we're lucky to be down only 7. Thank West, Hibbert, and Watson for actually showing up. Everyone else looked weak.

Feels like we should be down 30. I have a feeling we come out strong in the 3rd like the Spurs game and put this game to rest.

    LETS GO PACERS!!!!!!

Hopefully we continue the trend of playing better in the second half.

This team needs a good ball handler to run the offense. George Hill, Lance Stephenson, and Paul George do not have good handles. We will continue to be a high turnover team with those three initiating the offense.

That 3 point play was huge for us. Let's hope that we're able to get some momentum out of it and come out in the 3rd quarter and make a run.

    I really want this game.

Paul George is going to have to wake up too. 2 points is unacceptable in this type of game if you want to be a superstar. Tired legs, grog, whatever...it can't happen.

    I agree.

    Kyle Lowry is available.

I'm not sure whether we realistically could have played any worse than that in the first half. Pretty good sign that we're only down 7.

He played good defense on Wade while the bench was on the court. When Lance should have had a turnover he was able to get the ball and score. He has done more good this game than bad. But you probably wouldn't realize that because you said you were done with him just because he missed a shot.

I don't consider a great play by Lewis, and a bs foul to be bad plays on Orlando.

That play is absolute money, glad we're going into the half only down 7.

Paul needs to step up big 2nd half
    On the Lance bandwagon

Why did we stop feeding Roy? It's like after he got the early points, he din't get the ball at all in the post.

Paul needs to not let the refs get to him. Easier said than done, but that's what great players do.

Hill needs to stop letting chalmers get the better of him. Wtf

We are only down 7 though.

I was becoming another OJ fan and just like that he destroyed everything, don't want to see him ever again, same for Ian.

I'd like to see the team use West in the high post to take more pressure off our ball handlers. He's a good passer, and he can either drop it down to Roy or take whoever he's guarding into his wheelhouse. Lance, Hill, and Paul are doing too much dribbling and are allowing the Heat to swarm and trap, quick short passes are better than going one on one in this game.

13 turnovers (many of which led to Miami layups), 5 missed free throws early, dropping rebounds left and right (Mahinmi) and 0-6 from 3pt range (all wide open to my recollection)...the fact that this is a 7 pt game is astonishing. Clean it up and this game is ours...let's go!

A lot of end of the world and Pacers are exposed as frauds talk here tonight. I saw a perfectly normal Pacers first half out there. Hopefully we'll see a normal Pacers second half as well. Our ability to adjust to adversity, in game, will determine a lot about how I feel about our future prospects this season. 2 quarters will not.

I don't get it either we had moments like that last year against them they have nobody at all that can do anything about Roy and yet we decided we're the best 3pt jump shooting team in the league. One thing i've noticed is we fall into the trap far too easily once someone makes a 3 pt shot against us we have to for whatever reason try to come down and match it on the other end instead of just punishing them inside for an easy basket.

    Paul is getting punked
"We've got to be very clear about this. We don't want our players hanging around with murderers," said Larry Bird, Pacers president.

The Pacers really need two things to compete with the best. They need to learn how to pass the ball better. Also, Lance Stephenson needs to play better. We simply need his talent to deliver during games. If he's not getting there, we have to get Granger back on the court. While Granger will help a lot, only Lance's skills will make this team a lot better...good enough for a ring. But he's not showing enough.

Paul, George, and Lance need to play smarter. That is what it really comes down to, and usually when this team plays poorly it is because one or more of those players are playing stupid, usually Paul or Lance.
