Default Rainey to IR. Colts sign Choice.

    We lost our return man.

The Indianapolis Colts today agreed to terms with running back Tashard Choice and placed running back Chris Rainey on Injured Reserve.

Choice, 5-10, 210 pounds, has played in 85 career games (four starts) with the Dallas Cowboys (2008-2011), Washington Redskins (2011) and Buffalo Bills (2011-13). He holds career totals of 361 rushing attempts for 1,535 yards and 10 touchdowns, along with 80 receptions for 569 yards. In 12 games with Buffalo this season, Choice rushed for 126 yards on 35 carries and caught four passes for 10 yards. As a rookie in 2008, he played in all 16 games (three starts) and totaled career highs of 92 rushing attempts for 472 yards and 21 receptions for 185 yards.

Rainey appeared in two games for the Colts this season and totaled six kickoff returns for 131 yards (21.8 avg.) and four punt returns for 29 yards (7.3 avg.). He was originally signed by the team on November 20, 2013.

Someone needs to rid the Colts of this injury curse. Ol Blu is out there with a voodoo doll no doubt.

Yeah, he's been spotted at the official Colts board. May lord help those souls.

Let's take bets on how soon Choice will be on IR. I'll put my money on tomorrow.

Rainey actually looked like he had some potential too. At least on KO returns. Much more than Reed's sorry arse ever did. Does choice do return work or are we looking at Rodger or Brazill or even TY again?

Choice has 3 kick returns in his NFL career. Sooo who knows what the plan is.

Ouch! Forgot about Cassius Vaughn. Think he's returned on occasion if I'm not mistaken. All I vaguely recall is bad decisions about when to bring it out or not.

Why not just use anybody to kick return and instruct them to down it in the endzone every time? We very rarely get past the 20 anyway, plus no chance of a fumble. I just don't see kick returner being very important anymore unless you have one of those "special" guys on your team that could take it to the house at any time.

He was gone for the longest time over there, but like Michael Myers he came back from the dead.

He has the same troll game over there and everything the Colts do is wrong, Luck stinks, and so on.

We are just better off kneeling it every time on kickoffs and just fair catching it on punts.
