I guess what Durant's mindset is:

I am sick and tired of being #2, now you are telling me I am #3?
    WTF?
The difference is that the #1 player (Lebron) and #2 George (in Durants mind) both will play the toughest player on the other team, not hide on defense, while Durant's offensive ability is awesome, he will never be the #1 due to being hidden on defense.

Maybe. I've seen a couple of OKC's games this season though and his D, though not even near as good as his offensive capabilities, definitely looks better then when I saw him last year. But, you are right that Durant, relatively speaking, doesn't have to guard the best offensive players of the opposing teams normally, while James and George do by fat the most of the games.

The Pacers' strengths are the Heat's weaknesses, and the same is true just vice-versa for the Pacers/OKC. They match up so well with the Pacers at almost every position.

I believe OKC is the best in the west and if they and the Pacers meet in the finals OKC wins. They have more bigs that are good than the Pacers. The Pacers need another big. Ian is not the answer. As a fourth big maybe.

This is a good explanation of the importance of getting Danny back ASAP. Danny gives the Pacers another guy that can force a double team and doesn't allow guys like Durant anyplace to hide.

I suspect that Danny will be brought along very slowly and do everything to have him primed for the playoffs.

On the bright side, Pacers were over .500 on probably the toughest road trip anyone will see this year...and the Colts clinched the division/playoffs :P

    No need to wallop
Difference is: Pacers are really good. Colts are not.
