It wasn't pretty, but our league best D kept us in it and in the end we pulled away for our 17th win of the season!

Was very worried that this would be a trap game during the 1st half. Glad we were able to get it done in the 4th quarter. Bring on SAS and OKC!

This is just like every other win for this Pacers Team. Opponent is hyped, jumps on us early, we reel them back in, and drop the hammer in the 2nd half.

This team would be so much more potent if they would stop taking so many 3's in the first qtr. Especially when you are on a long road trip and your legs are suspect. What does this coaching staff need to do to get these guys to attack the rim early.

With this team, I don't really believe in "trap games". They take each game one at a time and do an excellent job of focusing on that one game. In that regard, their maturity is far beyond their ages.

The cat just wasn't too hungry tonight, could destroy them at any moment, but just wasn't in the cards. That's (hopefully) a once or twice a season shooting night from PG.

Another W for us and that's ultimately what matters.

Despite our awful stat line from the 3pt line and the bad shooting night from PG and West, the overall FG % was quite good.

I'm amazed at only 8 turnovers, it felt like there were even more bad passes than usual tonight, I guess some of them were hold onto and salvaged.

Oh and the Jazz's bench is absolute garbage besides Burks. When they brought in Beidrens and Harris (the random dude that actually hit a shot), I knew they were toast.

They needed to put the Jazz away to start the 4th, so PG didn't take his usual rest to begin it. Plus there's 2 days off before San Antonio.

Fair enough, eek though, PG 8 3 point attempts. Hope they were at least open looks.

Candace Buckner tweeted a quote from PG about the altitude affecting him. It was easy to see.

We bounced back. Now we are onto our biggest back to back yet.

I just think that since SA will come from Mexico, I hope they won't suffer jetlag so that it's going to be a heck of a game. Both teams will be rested.

strong win. coulda easily been a let down game. this team is so amazing.

we have 7 guys who can nite in nite out get you 10 pts.

Hill, Lance, PG, West, Hibb, Luis, CJ. the way we play defense we don't need one specific guy to go for 40 but if it happens great. Luis touched on that well in the postgame interview.

I have been a big fan of OJ but his play has been struggling. not to the depths of a GG, but his size very much limits him. Obviously Frank Vogel has a better idea than any of us but I wonder why Solo is not getting more minutes, his defense and rebounding along w athleticism should allow him to play both wing positions.

will be interesting to see how things progress with that joker role (ie OJ/Solo/Cope) we have yet to fill in the second unit. For now im not going to suggest anything with Granger until he is back on the court.

Cope experiement failed in some regards, primarily because Cope did not knock down his looks and he is not in the flow of the offense at all. Like Cope but he may need to be moved at the trade deadline which should be reasonable to complete. again I really like Cope but not sure what his role should be and he deserves minutes ... good player as that stretch 4.

Suffice to say we need Granger.

Solid win. SA is going to be a real test for us Saturday. I think many of us know that SA is a tough place for us to get a win. Not to jump to conclusions but I would really like to get a win to give us confidence in hopes to return later in the season.

ESPN's recap says that PG was fighting a cold tonight.

Tough night in the paint when both Kanter and Favors drop 20-10. Rough game, though one of the better ones from the Jazz, especially from the line. Brandon Rush had a nice up fake and jumper, and went somewhere else to knit or something. Some laser sharp passing from the top by DWest. Sometimes it feels like Hill is the fourth or fifth point guard on the team.

Ian Report: He actually did okay. Got the assist for the first three of the night in the fourth and blocked Favors' dunk attempt in the second. Also missed a pretty easy layup, but I believe that's a contractual requirement as a Pacers big. He earned a 'B'. Good to end up with the W, though hopefully this weekend is livelier.

Also, 'D-' for Chris and Quinn for somehow not knowing what language Luis is speaking as they shuffle by him confusedly in the tunnels. "I may have read somewhere in a guidebook from the 70s that it was the Portuguese that invaded the land of Argentina."

That does not seem normal....WTF is that?

How can something like that not lead to some long-term injury?
Ash from Army of Darkness: Good...Bad...I'm the guy with the gun.

This is David West, he is the Honey Badger, West just doesn't give a *****....he's pretty bad *ss cuz he has no regard for any other Player or Team whatsoever.
