There used to be some guy in the sports media that argued triple doubles are overrated, primarily because it's not difficult to get 10 points and also because the assist category is often force-fed late in games. I was talking to a friend today and he agreed, triple doubles are overrated.
I'd have to disagree. What do you think the all-time win/loss percentage is for games in which a triple-double is recorded? Surely it's very high, like .800 high. Even better, if anyone knows of any way I could find this out myself (without spending hours sifting through historical game logs), that would be even better!
