Pacers win, our offense stagnated a few times, could have used some Bench, but awesome and exciting game.

Now if only the Bobcats could beat the Heat and put them another game behind us for the one seed.

Well, that's probably asking too much, I'll take the win!

Yep and the beauty is we should beat the Blazers into Portland. If we can pull off that win, hopefully we can rest our guys a bit during the Jazz game.

Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

    Awesome. Just awesome.

I love D West in these road games. He has such a nasty edge to him. That was the West we saw last year. That jumper is so nasty.

We're a freaking great team. We just always find a way to pull it out.

Great win and a great start to the trip. So glad the Clips were at full strength to minimize the doubters. Ooops. Just saw Redick didn't play. Still, they have more than enough to overcome that.

This team is truly performing at an incredible level. There were a couple things I did not like, but I'll leave that for later. Now we CELEBRATE!!!

Not so sure about "should". They're 13-3 for a reason.

Agreed. What's crazy, is that it felt like one way or another... they were going to pull it out. Sure enough, they did.

A lot of small, yet critically important contributions in crunch time.

Hibbert's little tip after Lance's 2nd free throw.
George Hill calmly knocking down free throws.
A couple of critical offensive boards.
PG Locking down JCraw in the last 2-3 minutes of play after being red, red hot in the 4th.
Some very, very effective dishing by Watson late.

Let's keep it up boys. One game at a time.

    One game at a time....
This team has a purpose and focus.

Beat them "into" Portland. As in, we'll get to Portland before they do.

It wasn't long ago you couldn't count on the Pacers to win a game like this down the stretch. Extremely enjoyable game.

Ian Report: The whole bench had a tough time with Crawford and the Clippers' second unit. He, and any other player who can get past the PnR and put in a 10-15 foot jumper/floater, can be deadly against our rim-protecting defense. Ian defended pretty well, recorded a block, five points, and had a couple of nice tips on the offensive glass that would predicate the nice offensive rebounds that would help seal the win. He got taken out early in the fourth because of the closeness of the game, but I think he could have afforded Roy a couple more minutes of rest. He could have hit one or two more free throws. About a 'B' for today.

How well we do the next few games will depend on match-ups. Against some teams, we cannot be stopped. But if a team has the right mix of small ball, they can be a problem for us. A stretch 4 is going to be a challenge. This is where adding Granger would help us considerably.
