    When was Van Gundy coach for the Knicks?

    In 2001, Sprewell average 19.4 pts/game. That is the max for his career in New York.

    In 2001, Houston averaged 20.4 pts/game. The max for his career in New York has been 22.5 pts/game (2002).

    BTW, Patrick Ewing averaged over 20ppg in BOTH of JVG's 1st 2 seasons in NY.
