Yep great to see. Hoping to hit up a game soon. Trying to decide which one. Need to get my George jersey after all

This is the best Pacers team in my life easily. Quick Bird Hire Reggie as a shooting coach so we can give him a ring.

Friday's game is filling up too.
Welcome to Pacers Digest! New around here? Here are three tips for making the forum a great place to talk about Pacers basketball.

    • Log in. Even if you want to read instead of post, it's helpful because it lets you:
    • Change your signature options. You can hide all signatures by choosing "Settings" (top right) then "General Settings" (middle left) and unchecking the box "Show Signatures" (in the "Thread Display Options" area).
    • Create an ignore list. I know it may seem unneighborly. But you're here to talk about the Pacers, not argue with someone who's just looking for an argument. Most of the regular users on here make use (at least occasionally) of the "Ignore" feature. Just go to "Settings" -> "Edit Ignore List" and add the names.

    Enjoy your time at PD!

I think that they are tanking. A 40 point loss to the Clippers can happen but losing to Utah should not be possible for a Thibodeau team.
I dont think its tanking. I think they sre gutted after losing Rose again

I expect Friday to be close to a sellout though. A Monday night game BEFORE THANKSGIVING drawing over 16k though? I'm VERY happy with that.

Just for comparison's sake, the last home game before Thanksgiving last year drew 12,633 for the game where PG went BANANA from behind the arc and broke Reggie's single game 3 point team record.

Absolutely. In the past, games like this would be between 11,000 and 13,000. General consensus, the Wolves are considered an inferior opponent by most onlookers. I would have been happy with 15,000, absolutely thrilled with 16,000 plus.

Do Shooting Coaches get a ring if their respective Team wins a Championshio?

The Pacers obviously took their tough pills tonight!
    It never gets old!

I thought the officiating was worse against the 76ers, but it was pretty bad tonight for that stretch in the 3rd.

It still doesn't feel like we've played well this season. We've had a few 4-5 minutes bursts here and there, but not really a complete game. We are just that good right now. Average play with a few bursts=15 point win. That's amazing.

I didn't see too much of tonight's game, but it seems that Scola is going through a bit of a rough stretch the last few games. Lots of missed shots and turnovers. I'm sure he will get it turned around.

The combo of Hill and PG really bothered Rubio, but it was truly Ian who scared them all (other than Montenegrin Paul Bunyan) out of the lane after Roy picked up his fourth foul. The defense turned into offense and we finally stopped *****ing at the (admittedly clueless) foul calls. Corey Brewer is a sad mother****ing panda. Continue Ian's freedom!

    And for your viewing pleasure:

Speaking of another day at the office, the Spurs creamed NO by 19 with 12 players on the score sheet,
7 of them in double figures and only Diaw playing over 30 minutes.

    Pretty damn impressive.

The latest CBS Sportsline power rankings say it best:

    1. Pacers: Some teams want to win, some expect to win -- but the best know they will win. Say howdy to a member of that last crew.

    http://www.cbssports.com/nba/story/2...-spurs-blazers

That is so spot on. We just have that swagger to us that we know we are going to win. Opponents give us our best shot and can hang with us for a while, but in the second half we completely step on their throat. This is such a well coached team that knows exactly what they have to do to win. And while we may be young, we are a pretty experienced unit at this point. These guys are all very familiar with one another and know each others quirks well.

No, that is just the emotional letdown from learning Rose is out for the season.
