I think we played well and was an enjoyable win against a good team with a winning record. That will put to rest some of the press whining.

Last time I complained about the refs in a post game thread was against Denver last season where they robbed us. I will again now cause they deserve it. Awful bunch and we were playing against them too at times.

I think in year 4, we'll really appreciate the bang for the buck of Mahinmi's contract... he just needed game experience, and wasn't getting that in Dallas... to have expected him to be effective out of the gate was an unrealistic expectation, given how NBA green he was at the time.

Good on the FO for finding him. Really like his game this year. Just needs to learn how to squeeze the orange on post entry passes, and he'll be we'll worth the Investment.

Naaah. The Wolves fell to .500 with that loss and they were 2-5 on the road before the game so the whining won't stop.

I am tired of Lance's fancy passes in traffic.
    X100.

We have so many players on the roster capable of making open shots. So, I would say if we are trying "to thread the needle", so to speak, we are attempting to complete a pass that should not have been made in the first place. We don't need to force passes; just make the easy pass to the open man and over the time of even a single possession that will achieve what we require.

To this I would like to see George eliminate the behind-the-back dribble in traffic. Paul wii commit a few errors while trying to be aggressive and we really shouldn't have problems with these because we want to see him being mor aggressive. But he can eliminate the unnecessary TOs that result from moves he probably should not be making. If a move requires a behind-the back dribble in the paint, he should have given up the ball before making the move.

The only other improvement I'll beg for is improved free throw shooting.

Other than that, let's just keep on keeping on.

Miami has had a rather easy schedule so far but I don't see many complaining. Yes even if they have 3 losses.

Speaking of season low point totals...

    Orlando's 87, New Orleans 90, Cleveland's 74, Chicago's 80, and Memphis's 79 are all season lows (some are shared lows).
    Weak strength of schedule, though.

13-1 and probably not going to gain any ground on Miami, San Antonio, or Portand tonight. The creme is quickly rising in the east and west this year.

Agreed but they are the defending two-time champs so they get the benefit of the doubt. The whining is unfair but chances are that every good Eastern team will have to put up with it all year long.

George Hill finished with 26 points, 7 assists and 5 steals. He's the fourth Pacers player in the last 20 seasons with at least 25 points, 5 assists and 5 steals in a single game, joining Jamaal Tinsley, Danny Granger and Paul George.

I think that they are tanking. A 40 point loss to the Clippers can happen but losing to Utah should not be possible for a Thibodeau team.

I think the Pacers made a point for the officials to not to tug on Supermans cape tonight, because when they had enough, THEY HAD ENOUGH.....

The guards just toasted them. George Hill had a really good game, but Paul is just clearly the best player on the floor every game. How lucky we are to have snagged him at #9.

Don't know. I suppose we were even luckier to snag him at #10.

I still think Portland's cream is going to curdle at some point. I like them, but not as one of the top 2 seeds in the West.

No disrespect to Thibodeau and Chicago, but if they think they can out-tank the Utah Jazz, then they're out of their damn minds.

I've been critical of the Mahinmi sign and trade in the past, but I've been pretty impressed with him this year. He's given us a very nice spark off of the bench.

George Hill is so important to this team.

Typical day at the office. We're just too good for teams to handle.

Plus playing the East will virtually impossible. But as I recall they got Rose with what the 5th worst record the year before. If magic strikes twice I will be pissed. Hopefully they make the playoffs even in the weak east.

While critical of his ability at the time. I think the fact that he had gotten better every year soothed my concerns a bit.
