Aye. Do not forget that folks. 2 massive plays (forced fumble and an INT) in the SB as well.
Bonus: I also wish I was able seeing Bob smash the **** out of Noah and Korver with his bull like tackling approach.
PS: Eleazar, I agree with you man. It's a good analogy in terms of the quality of both athletes and their injury problems. It's just that I love Bob Sanders and I hate the Bulls hence my post. /off topic
Both Boozer and Deng are up this year I believe. So it really makes no sense to hang on to them. If they get rid of both of them then they dont' really have much talent at all. Mike Dunleavy probably ends up the starting SF. They have to maximize those guy's value in a trade or amnesty situation because Thibs is too good a coach to actually let them tank.
Maybe send Deng to NOLA for Tyreke Evans? Or the Magic for Aaron Affalo and Nelson?

You can't get champagne from a garden hose.
According to Shamsports, Boozer will have another full year on their contract:
Although Boozer is the preferable Player to jettison.....I can see them trading either Boozer or Deng for future assets just to get below the LT.
Remember....they need to jettison about $7+ mil in 2013-2014 Salary to get under the LT. What Team is still under the Salary Cap that can absorb the Salary of either of those Players while not sending anything back?
Ash from Army of Darkness: Good...Bad...I'm the guy with the gun.
Would they trade Gibson for Scola?
If turner beats out hill and mahinmi in camp then fine, but odds of that happening are slim.
I, for one, enjoy the Bulls fans' collective misery.
Guess the division is ours afterall. For at least the next 2 seasons by the looks at it.
Don't feel too bad for the Bulls friends. I'm sure somehow that miracle of miracles will happen in the lottery. And the New York Knicks select Patrick Ewing, and the Cleveland Cavaliers select Lebron James, and the Chicago Bulls select Derrick Rose.
You know how hippos are made out to be sweet and silly, like big cows, but are actually extremely dangerous and can kill you with stunning brutality? The Pacers are the NBA's hippos....Matt Moore CBS Sports....
I was just looking at team payrolls and the Bulls are at 82 mil this year. Next year they're at 64.5 mil on 8 players which doesn't include Deng. It seems like Reinsdorf is willing to pay the LT but I'll bet they make some major changes at this point. I doubt if any team would take Boozer off their hands. The only team that could give them complete tax relief by taking on Deng would be the Sixers. I'd wonder if they'd consider that with the way their young players are coming along or if they'll want to move Turner and go into complete tank mode.
I really think that the Bulls are not going to trade to get better (maybe to tank).
Question: OK, now you know Derrick is gone for this season. Why not trade some of your players for future possibilities, young players or draft picks and begin rebuilding?
Forman: It’s still too early in the process and we’re not going to make any rash decisions. We feel there is a bright future ahead and we believe we are positioned well. Look, we fully expect Derrick to come back 100 percent for next season. This basically was a freak injury. This was not due to the ACL or some fatigue of other factor. We have a young nucleus of veterans basically in their 20’s; we have multiple draft picks, including a pick from Charlotte in one of the next three drafts; we have the rights to Nikola Mirotic, who has been the best young payer in Europe the last two years. I know people get tired of hearing it sometimes, but we also have the possibility of flexibility in free agency this summer or next. So we feel we are in a good position, and we will be getting Derrick back.
