This is why Copeland needs to be on the floor.

I expressed the same concept in words and got grilled for it. I'm sure the other posters will respond the same way to you.
No offense, but you've acted like a dick basically the whole thread. That has more to do with how people react to you than your opinions. Not saying you can't act that way or shouldn't act that way, I'm not your mom, but don't be surprised when you reap what you sow.

Just got out of a meeting, this is a tad embarrassing.

No- I started venting to no one in particular and then other people acted like dicks toward me for simply being angry.

    Why?

Lance has become very lazy on defense ever since his hot start.
Which is why I think Granger could start, you aren't willing to try on D you shouldn't be starting for this team.

I like this lineup. Not very good defensively, but should be able to score.

I may be reading into this too much, but shouldn't we be playing Copeland at the three in extended minutes?

Cope is definitely a bit of a defensive liability, but he needs to get on the floor nightly.

I don't think that Copeland at the 3 provides as many benefits as Copeland at the 4 does.

Lance is young. So is Paul. Young players are prone to bouts of mental non-toughness. When things go wrong, they try harder and play worse. It takes time to become the Reggie Miller type of player than plays better the bigger the stakes.

Agreed on general principle. But either he's replacing Scola, or he's replacing Hill/OJ, or he's a cheerleader. Positions, respectively: 4, 3, 11.

I can see having on off night shooting but I can't see any excuse for the lack of effort on defense.

Yeah, you have a point here. Scola is too valuable to not play. If Hill or OJ are not playing well then it possibly couldn't hurt.
