Peyton Manning Children's Hospital to unveil new themed room
Peyton Manning Children's Hospital is set to unveil a new Pacers and Fever themed room on Wednesday.
Indianapolis-based insurance company, Baldwin & Lyons, has committed to providing ten hospital rooms to the hospital over the next five years. The Pacers and Fever room is the second completed room in the commitment. The first was a super hero room created this past summer. The project aims to make the hospital less scary for children.
The Pacers mascot, Boomer, will join the Baldwin & Lyons CEO and the executive director of St. Vincent, at a ribbon cutting at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday.
The Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent now has eleven themed patient rooms, funded by donations from the local community.
